We'll see. I just like that whyte is looking to swim in the deep end once again.

Remember in 2018 when Whyte said Ortiz would be too bold to fight lol

Of course he is, what does he have to lose? Plus he's an egomaniac, with more self belief than talent... which helps. He's got Dunning-Kruger about his skillset.

Exactly! Hes got everything to gain. Most fighters after a knockout embarrasing knockout loss either go quiet into the shadows or have a tune up. Whytes just jumping straight into the deep end.

He should take it, it's a good fight, it'll give Povetkin more time to recover, too.

Great matchup. I hope it happens.

Ortiz is the better boxer and the better puncher. Whyte is doomed.

Love the matchup -- I hope it goes through.

Ortiz is damn old at this point, but he's aged well -- maybe he's still got enough to bring it to Whyte? I hope so.

Even a 2000 year old Ortiz will trouble Whyte.

I'd like to see him fight guys he hasn't fought, Ruiz or winner of Helenius vs Kownacki II would be more exciting for me than him rematching Parker.

I don't care for this fight, whoever wins. Ortiz is not a serious contender at his age. If Dillian loses - b2b losses to 40 somethings - his career as a top HW is about over. What is it with Whyte? I've posted it before, fight Parker or at least a fighter a few years short of 40

Ortiz will be at least 65 years old by the time this fight comes off.
