Telford - Foley : Great scrap both men went to war , fight of the night.
Wilson - Rafol : Expected result , Wilson too good .
Hunt - Gallen : Plenty of action from the boys , Hunt landed bigger but Gal landed more often . Fair result I thought
Tsyzu - Morgan : Tim way too good , nothing left for him domestically forget Zerafa , hope the Castano fight can be made next
and hope to see Tim compete at world level.

    Whitaker-Gal

    Whats the go here?

I honestly didn't realise they had been jabbing each other. Never thought he was on Gal's radar.

But how is Whitaker asking for $1.5million lol.

He has barely made that in his whole career. He earned like $350K a pop for the Romero fights im quite certain, not including any bonuses.

The UFC cats get paid so poorly that they are out of touch with the real world. Boxing does have a bit of an issue with wealth distribution but there is no doubt the big name fighters bring in the scrilla.

Thing is UFC is so popular and bringing it such good revenues these lads are getting ripped. Someone, cough cough Mr White, is reaping all the rewards and paying the fighters peanuts. No wonder they jelly of boxing purses.

Darragh Foley v Ty Telford - This was the fight of the night but I have to say the brutality of it disturbed me. I couldn't help but think about the long-term effects the damage they were inflicting on each other will have. I mean, it went on for 10 rounds with both on the verge of collapse but they continued on. I actually don't want to see them fight each other again. Neither has anything to prove after what they showed last night.

Bruno Tarimo v Paul Fleming - Another very well matched fight. I think Bruno's pressure would have told on a guy who was having his first fight in two years had it continued. Bruno keeping his titles & Showtime keeping his unbeaten record was a good result in my eyes.

Liam Wilson won comfortably. Credit to the other guy for making it competitive while it lasted. When I saw them weigh-in I thought it would be a complete mismatch. Surely Bruno Tarimo & Paul Fleming should come into contention as future opponents for Wilson? And by future, I mean next up.

Paul Gallen v Mark Hunt was the Stifler's Mum thread Christmas bonus fight & like the Stifler's Mum thread itself, it delivered. I felt all those punches Gal took & I willed him to stay upright & get to the finish line. I didn't think there was anything controversial about the result. Gallen won.

Timmy Tool Train v Bowyn Morgan can be summed up in two words - "Kiwi down!"

Big fight Saturday night. David Light vs Mose A. Jnr. David Light coming off wins against Mark Flanagan and Trent Broadhurst and Mose A. Jnr coming off an impressive ko of game but outclassed Kerry Foley. This is at cruiser; so, it should suit Light.

Yeah a bit too much of a jump for Mose. I think Light will get the stoppage win. After Lights last performance, he and his team said theres a big announcement happening after this fight. Possibly Light v Opetaia? Chuck it on the Parker v Fa undercard if it is I say.

Would love for Light and opetaia to go their own ways, get some overseas exposure then make a big fight in Oz in a couple of years once everyone has at least heard of em.

Could well happen. Having sid that there isn't a lot of options for them in these times being based down here so they may be forced into fighting each other sooner than expected.

True. I guess Im hoping for either guy not to be paid peanuts to through a spanner in either guy's works. Id love to see the fight but not sure if either team sees it as an option, especially Light as he'd start as the slightly higher odds. As u say, if hte restrictions continue then that could be their only avenue, even if it is for only a few grand. Maybe Fa Parker, as you said, or Kamboses v Lopez

Sorry would have done one but was out on Saturday night. Good fight. Mose gave Light trouble early on fighting out of southpaw and fighting on Light's chest, even hurting Light in round 2 with a left hook to the body. I thought Mose did enough to take the first 2 rounds of the fight but the judges gave him none which was harsh imo. Light started to dominate as the fight went on with his size and power playing a major factor as he slowly began to push Mose back after Mose's strong start and even secured a KD in the 6th.

A good hitout for Light and Mose has said himself that he'll go back dow to Super Middleweight after this. Hope to see them both on the Parkker v Fa undercard if they recover in time.

This is sad. How is stripper v Mundine allowed to happen Mundine looks and sounds punch drunk. Was never a fan of Mundine but he clearly looks old and struggling to put 2 words together, he use to struggle putting at least 5 together.
Zerafa is a dog for doing the fight acting all tuff knowing it's a corpse in front of him.
