Smith honestly just not that good people need to realise this. Canelo either takes him out with a body punch or an inside uppercut

The worst handicap he had was eating nothing but TexMex the past few weeks; that's all you can get in San Antonio. Brits can't handle enchiladas smothered in queso, or chicken flautas in mole sauce or Chile rellenos covered in salsa. Mucho mad caliente.

Just bringing out my told you card.

I think we have a case here of people underrating what Kovalev had left when he fought Canelo. Sure he was on the downside, but he was still a very skilled fighter, so skilled he twice outboxed Andre Ward, "outboxed" a very skilled Andre Ward even in the rematch where Kovalev got stopped.
Callum Smith though younger and undefeated, is nowhere near the skill level of Kovalev.
Canelo is at the moment at the peak of his prime, he's turned all the fighters he's fought recently to timid gunshy forms of themselves and that included Gennady Golovkin who in the rematch was on the backfoot pushing an arm jab.

As I said in a previous post on this thread my friend, defense by Canelo would be key and Smith who had never been in a ring with anything like that type of defense was lost.

We sure found out who is special and it’s Canelo not Smith.

Not sure who I'm laughing at harder; the hardcore anti-Canelo crowd who bigged up Smith (literally, in some cases) hoping to see Canelo fall, or the hardcore pro-Canelo crowd who bigged Smith up (again, sometimes literally) to make Canelo's one-sided victory seem impressive rather than an inevitability of his class and Smith's lack of.

Every last one of you needs to calm down.

People get too caught up in their feelings, but that shouldn't surprise you.

Canelo's best performance so far imo. He keeps improving with every fight, which is very nice to see.

I never made a prediction one way or another, I was just questioning from the beggining what within Smith's limits could he do to beat Canelo, I just did'nt see with the type of height and reach that he had that his jab was strong enough to keep Canelo at bay.
My example pre-fight was that even Kovalev on the way down was a better fighter than Smith.
.......and I was right on the issue, Canelo had a much easier time with Smith than he did Kovalev.
