You’re listening to them too much I think. Not much hurtful stuff is landing properly . Fair skinned Smith’s face suggests it’s far from a beating
It’s not as bad a beating as they’re making out, but Smith has looked scared and timid all night, that’s why I would pull him out. When someone looks like they don’t want to be in there then call it a day.
Every round to canelo. Tremendous chin showed by smith but that’s about it. Smith Looking up at the clock in the last round constantly- lost heart
What a let down. He had no pop from minute one. That’s nothing to do with Canelo’s work, it’s to do with Smith physically. Fair play to Canelo beat him very comfy. It wasn’t hard though.
Smith has a chin to be fair to him, ate some horrible uppercuts. His body will ache, did very well to see the final bell. Canelo will his low crouched hunched up forward movement throwing hooks reminded me of a prime Mike Tyson tonight. Difficult to see who beats him.
Physicality aside Canelo is just a level or two above Smith in boxing ability. Smith did well to go the distance really. Some chin on the lad.
In rounds and ring territory it was. Everyone has seen far worse beatings than that. Smith never looked likely to win so I see what you’re saying about that but I saw no reason to pull him out. Smith must have looked slightly hurt twice. How can that be a beating?
