Don't forget in Smith's last fight which he had a full camp for and proper sparring John Ryder whooped his ass or that shot drunk Kovalev was KO'd by Eledier Alvarez three fights earlier and just nine weeks before he fought Clenelo he came within a whisker of being sparked out by a rank novice who'd never even fought anyone remotely close to world level and who just lost to a one-armed novice the other week who himself had never fought anyone remotely close to world level. People want us to forget but to quote Alanis Morissette: ''I'm here to remind you''

Canelo was scarry good tonight and Smith was overmatched....he didnt have the speed or power to deal with Canelo

GGG looked equally impressive last night....better than he did with Canelo 1 and 2....#3 needs to happen GGG is looking reinvigorated and better, faster and stronger than ever. He is the only fighter who physically overpowered Canelo and took Canelos best punch without blinking

Frank Sanchez sucks he should have steam rolled that guy.....I have never seen a fighter who came out of the Cuban program that fundamentally unsound.....

Andre "King of unpenalized low blows" Ward? I would be quiet if I was as casual as you...

Where would Kovalev have moved up to though? 200lbs? The next division up was 25lbs heavier than his natural weight.

    Canelo went

    147lbs
    154lbs
    160lbs
    168lbs
    175lbs

All small incremental steps. Plus he walks around at 180lbs so it was not a big stretch for Canelo to go up like he did.

Kovalev is 190lbs walking around. A regular Cruiserweight walks around at 210lbs+ after rehydration.

Respect to Rider, he's a proper fighting man who gives his all. No denying sometimes promoters get the home fighter the small advantages. That doesn't take away from how good a champion C.Smith has been.

Alright, enough with the Canelo-Beterbiev talk. It’s all fun and games, but we all know it won’t happen. ****, even my lady knows, and she hates boxing :D

    GGG next!

Why do boxing fans think tall skinny guys are ‘big’ or ‘huge’. Enduring mystery to me.

No Betervi is 35 year's old if Canelo beats his a$$ you will come out on how he's "old" past prime" you need to be so stupid to see that Canelo p4p is above him.

I know exactly what it gives you. I take it myself.

It won't make me a add to my skill set though if I was a boxer.

Ward would push Canelo's **** in on 2 weeks notice, even now. And you do realize there's an awfully huge chasm between Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight right? Like a Lightweight to Middleweight gulf.

But then explain why other guys on juice aren't performing at the same level?

If all things are equal, Canelo still comes out on top.

I have to agree, I think Canelo tonight looked excellent, he looked like he was having fun and enjoying himself.

And this was against the number 1 at 168, this wasn't a soft touch but at times Canelo made it look that way.

I just don't see a fighter out there at 168 that gives him any trouble now, I certainly can't see anybody knocking him out at 168.

175, different story, I think there are a few there that could be dangerous, I see Canelo sitting in the 168 division for a while, trying to unify and then waiting until a few of those top men at 175 start fading and then make another move in to that division and attempt to take their scalps.

You need to get your eyes tested. Was David vs Goliath tonight in there. Someone 6'3 has no business at SMW when they hit their prime.
