Cringe. Both terrible trash talkers. Mundine is beyond washed up and will obviously get destroyed here. Terrible fight, terrible card.
Tszyu is the real deal but untested at world level Zerafa doesn't deserve a match with Tszyu, Tszyu needs to move on Tszyu has a level of comfort and composure in the ring which you only get when you start boxing before you can walk and get trained as a child by your dad who is one of the best ever in his division
Don't see the problem with Tszyu v Zerafa myself while Tszyu waits for the winner of Texiera v Castano.
Yeah can't blame Zerefa getting a payday against Mundine in what will hopefully be Mundines last fight ,as he looks and sounds horrible as everybody has said. Be interesting to see if and who Tszyu fights next now tho,as he definitely needs at least 1 more fight against a decent calibre opponent before any world title fight
Irony of Zarafa telling Tim he's only been fighting blown up welters. Yet Zerafa's claim to fame is beating one then getting knocked out by one in his last fight. Yet also want's Tim to blow up to 160. I put money on Mundine to beat horn due to Mundines previous showing that he still had hand speed and power and Horn is easy to hit. Horn was called everything under the sun for taking the fight by some. Yet now it's crickets for Zerafa taking him on when he was proven to be the walking dead against an old JWP. Would Zarafa even be getting a payday, Mundine draws nothing now. Pretty sure it will just be some streaming service and not on Main Event
Patrick Teixeira has made it into the US which means his fight with Brian Castano will likely go ahead in February. It also means Timmy Tool Train needs another fight before facing the winner. They're talking March for that. The best suitable domestic opponent is Michael Zerafa. I wonder if the Mundine fight can be postponed? The other guys they went after last time but didn't get were Daniel Lewis & Lenny Zappa. Neither really fits the bill as an opponent at this point. The other option (in fact their first choice last time) was Dennis Hogan. Maybe they could up their offer to him? At least he would know the Tool Train is going to turn up & he's going to get paid. Not be left standing at the station with his suitcase packed & no-where to go. If it's not Dennis Hogan or Michael Zerafa they will have to bring someone in. The better the opponent, the better prepared the Tool Train will be for the Teixeira v Castano winner. Liam Smith was mentioned a while back. I like that one. If Junior wants a real tough test, bring in Sergiy Derevyanchenko. Playtime is over.
I thought mundine put a decent showing vs parr, i had him edging that fight but we all know how qlders protect their own . Parr has an iron chin, choc hit him with some bombs that zerafa wouldnt be able to take if landed, obviously its easier to land on an old parr than A prime zerafa. i reackon choc can give zerafa a few rounds here based on styles and the fact that zerafa doesnt feel the need to drain the old man and put rehydration clauses on him. Chocs only chance here is to go for the kill early otherwise that zerafa right hand will remove any remaining brain cells choc has left.
* Liam Wilson vs Billel Dib in the works. * Ben Mahoney signed with Tasman Fighters. * Zerafa vs Mundine most likely streamed by Epicentre like Mundine last fight. * Not exactly a big fan of these crossover fights but after Gallen got 600K for Hall fight and 400k for Hunt fight and Hunt 500K for his Gallen as pro i justifly understand. https://wwos.nine.com.au/news/boxin...ake-paul/e88267af-5691-4f65-b3b3-c3726fb89782 https://wwos.nine.com.au/news/paul-...go-ahead/ba153776-bba7-4549-b74c-7aa9358842e6
Zerafa is carrying on like a bigger **** wit than Horn ever has. Sometimes the rose coloured glasses and selective hearing aids need to be left in the bottom draw bro.
