Make it happen. Toss up for me. Canelo's status increased because he beat the stiff bumcrusher GGG. Mayweather made him look slow and stupid. Spence being a southpaw can beat him too. Canelo's team is scared of letting him face good boxers, just oafish Neanderthals. Poor Andrade will never get a shot.

If he manages to go for a Pacquiao-Canelo double cashout into retirement, that's like he found the secret passages in the original Super Mario that take you straight to the end of the game.

No he did not go life and death with Porter he just fought Porter’s fight the same way Ike Ibeabuchi did with David Tua and won. Canelo beat Lil G with his superior skills. Spence is a massive Welterweight who will be comfortable at Middleweight. The smaller Floyd was not to skinny for Canelo was he basically outclassing him easily.

Both guys Canelo and EJ clearly want the fight. I suspect it’s likely to happen in 2022 possibly after Canelo unified at 168 pounds and Spence unifies at Welterweight taking out Pacquiao then fellow pound for pound champion Terence Bud Crawford.

I need to see Spence at 160 first. He may look like a smaller version of Andy Ruiz, or he may look like the Rock.
In any event Canelo beats him in very easy fashion. I don't blame Spence for trying to talk his way into a huge payday,
but he'd make more with a much smaller Pacquiao.

Clenelo went on to compete at 175 and looks like he's very com at 168. He was obviously drained/inexperienced at the elite level against Floyd.

Or maybe he actually believes he can beat Canelo. And if he does pull off the victory and looks good doing it, it puts him at the top of the pile. Why not go after the biggest star in the sport without too much effort making the weight. This is, after all, prize fighting. Win, win for Spence.

Don’t think so. I remember him fighting at 147 earlier on before moving up to win the titles at 154 pounds. He was taken to school by Floyd and had over 40 professional fights when he fought Floyd at 23 years old a 8 years professional. He list to a 36 Floyd Mayweather who was clearly past his physical peak. I have watched Canelo fight live at ringside and I know how good he is.

Clenelo would send E-Spence's head hurtling into the Stratosphere. E-Spence's size and physicality is one of his greatest assets down at 147 and unless he goes roid crazy like Clenelo that won't be the case up at 154 and 160. This version of Clenelo is as thick and wide as he is tall and E-Spence ain't got nothing in his armory to keep him off of him and he sure as hell ain't suddenly morphing into a super speedy boxer like Khan who possessed the speed of hand and foo to make Clenelo look like a ginger statue prior to getting clipped with that Clenbuterol bomb from hell from Clenelo who was way bigger and heavier than him.

Clenelo is not a career 140 Paulie level featherfist like Algieri and Peterson, a 135 pounder Mikey whose KO% above 135 = 0%, career 140 Danny Garcia, or a damaged goods Broken Face Brook or Pity Pat Porter, he's a 180lbs + of ginger roid monster who is able to walk down big career 168 pounders and rip their biceps clean off the bone with his meaty Clenbuterol hooks. E-Spence might be a natural 154 but Clenelo is a full-fledged 168 and just way too big, strong, tough and powerful for him.

Errol spence would give Canelo a tougher fight than anyone currently at 168

Is ending up in the hospital, in a coma, having your career ended or possible worse.... a win, win? It's not good for your health to move up from 147 to 160, but up to 168 to fight someone who's KO'd a LHW, is nihilistic.

Would the fight happen at 68? That's a horse of another color. I would like to see them fight at 60. I really respect guys that make those jumps. Usyk, Garcia, Brook etc.
