They’re going to say that to hype their boy up and make it look like he lost to a great fighter. The truth is Ortiz and his trainer wanted no part of AJ.

I agree with this. Fury clearly showed the blueprint for wrecking Wilder and AJ will be able to execute that gameplan even better than Fury. Fury is essentially a defensive boxer that learned offense. He did well. AJ is an offensive boxer that will be doing what comes naturally to him. Wilder always has a chance with his nuke of a right hand but I'm betting the better boxer lands first - ie - Joshua. I think that Joshua's combination punching up close will mess Wilder up something awful.

Fools on this board. I am so pissed that aj lost to ruiz before facing wilder, cause I would have bet 100 dollars on wilder koing aj.
Most people on this board are so dreadfully blended by their internet addiction to how good wilder is.
People are like: yeah we always told you that wilder sucks cause he lost to the best hw of this generation who stands at 6‘9 and beat klitschko.
Wilder is a very good boxer and he has a far better chin then joshua. Ironically the glass jawed wilder showed the best chin out of the 3 for now. He got beaten up by ortiz and fury like **** and didnt quit.
aj wouldnt even be able to find the range against wilder and the moment he gasses wilder will finish him.

The blueprint is to be taller and heavier then wilder, are you guys really that arrogant to think that none of the guys wilder face came up with this idea before you? Duhaupas tried to bully him, stivern tried to bully him and ortiz tried it too and also brezealle tried it. Your chances against wilder are completely different if you have a solid size and reach advantage, which aj doesnt have.

None of those guys are on Joshua's level, begging your pardon. Bunch of little guys with little power, and meagre boxing abilities too in some cases. Ortiz is the pick of that bunch and he nearly sent Wilder home on a stretcher.

Neither have glass jaws but Wilder is definitely chinnier. There’s a reason why Wilder avoided punchers his full career and AJ took them on as a challenge.

Well I know his age has become a joke on this forum but Ortiz was old and has also fought nobodies. He also came in sick to the first wilder fight, and Stiverne wasn’t even good, he gets ridiculously overrated by wilder fan boys

wilder wasnt even floored against ortiz, of course it was close, but wilder showed tremendous will power, while aj quit against ruiz. The fact is that the first oritz win, was a much better win then anything aj has. Its not only the age problem with aj opponents, but also the fact that a a lot of the opponents joshua faced had horrible last performances before they faced him, like pove or pulev or wk.
Aj best win are literally parker and whyte.

Yeah but he somehow managed to win a bronze medal at the olympics right? Especially while losing to clemente russo, but that was fixed anyway, or they just hand those medals out to anybody.

I’ve seen Wilder fanboys try to say Stiverne was a similar win to Joshua’s win over Povetkin. It’s bad enough they rate Ortiz as a more credible win but fu**ing Stiverne.
