It should've happened right after II. It's the biggest fight for either of them but Canelo does have more options like Plant or BJS to get undisputed.

From GGG's perspective he should go up to 168 and chase the fight. He set the middleweight defense record. Outside of Charlo and Andrade there's not much left for him at 160.

If canelo had fought fair & not juiced &had the NSAC, Vegas Boxing officials, Oscar & Uncle Tom Cobbley & all making sure he doesnt lose. THEN maybe he'd get credit from me.
Even tho GGG would be in his 40's Canelo is STILL afraid to go it mano et mano in a fair fight NOW!!! Just like Floyd

When is Pollo going to defend his bogus 160 titles?? If he cannot make 160 LEGALLY he should be STRIPPED!! When was the last time he defended them?

I think he wants to avoid the GGG trilogy fight by staying at 168

He might, it's not like he has a lot of options for a big money fight.

He's only got the WBA? Regardless I don't think he bothers with 160 anymore. Let Murata and Eubanks fight it out.

As much as I like GGG and I believe he deserved to win both matches against Clenelo he wouldn't stand a chance in the 3rd match, he looked knackered and old against Derevyanchenko and the fight he just had proved nothing. Just because he deserved to beat Clenelo in the past doesn't mean he should fight him again otherwise Lara would be getting a re-match

We don't need any such thing. It's a foregone conclusion at this point GGG is so far declined. It was a double miracle he managed to beat Canelo twice at the ages he did. It would be impossible now.

Nah. Whats the point? G is on the way out and Canelo is in his prime. Its obvious that the physicality and athleticism that Golovkin needs to beat Canelo was beginning to slide even in their first fight.

To top it all off... even if he did pull a great performance off and fought an incredible fight and won (again), he's not winning on the cards.

    Just no point to it.

Rather see Canelo fight other champions nearer their primes.

little gigi would sell his mother before fighting at 168, dont worry.

Plus probably canelo does not give a **** about the belts.

Canelo wants to Unify 168. Saunders and Plant I think.

    It seems reasonable to me.

I dont think canelo can go one weight up. Callum looked like a freaking giant next to canelo. Literally. I was astonished with the size difference.

It was nice seeing Canelo take on some fresh faces, but now it's getting dull. His last two fights was basically marching forward while the opponent dances around the perimeter shoe shining. At least GGG will make a fight out of it.
