No Boxing No Life. We really need to commend Eddy Reynoso and his father Chepo Reynoso for the fantastic work they have done with Santos Saul “El Canelo” Alvarez Barragan. This is an appreciation thread. This content is protected
I wonder how is it possible that reinoso could not teach him **** at the beginning of his career and suddenly, in the past few years, canelo has improved so so so so much. Is reinoso receiving help? On the other hand, canelo is the most natural active fighter nowadays. Had I trained him, he would be a champion of the world anyway. Damn, had my neighbour trained him (she's hot as F but she has no clue about boxing) canelo would be a champion of the world anyway. That's how natural he is. 4 weights champion of the world... that's different. I wonder, why this change in canelo? did reinoso improve too? did he receive help? did something change like 4 years ago or so? if so, what changed? And dont talk me about peds, because what canelo has improved cannot be improved by using peds.
This is about dedication to your craft . Eddy Reynoso has been improving as a trainer over the years. They the Reynoso’s and Canelo have devoted their lives to boxing and reaping the rewards. As the mantra goes “No Boxing No Life”.
the evolution canelo has had from 23 years old up to now is just.... mindblowing. That's why I asked, as far as I know reinoso took him with 15 years old. Well, reinoso made him a champion with 21 or 23 years old, that's amazing. But he was a limited champion, he was a champion because he is completely natural. But it was obvious that he had a lot of limitations. But from 23 years old up to now... oh my...!!! that's not normal. You cant get what canelo has now by just being natural. Or at least I dont think that anyone can be that natural talent, I cannot conceive it. So something very good has been done with canelo in the past years. No doubt. I just wondered because it does not seem the same work that it was done from 15 years old to 23 years old. Of course, reinoso can improve too. If it was that.... hats off, guys, because we dont see that every day. Not at all.
No it’s the evolution from age 15 not 23. I saw him fight live first at age 22 at the MGM grand and it was bittersweet watch beat the crap out of the much older Sugar Shane Mosley. The lessons he learned when he fought Professor Floyd Mayweather were invaluable. He took the lessons on board and worked on his game..
LOL No i dont hate him I just do not respect him He is a PROVEN Peds abuser. Even Bob Bennett & the NSAC couldnt get him out of that one But they ammended their rules on the amount of Clenbutrol it takes to fail the test so he can carry onmeat munching. Just like Floyd he really could have been a real ATG with the talents they had but both chose the easy path of Ped's & corruption. No way I could ever respect that
