For casual fans it does not matter much.
There is hometown fighter, big tickets seller and a bit old B side guy.
Clenelo with clauses and when Clenelo had fought in europe?

We do not hope on scorecards when hometown cash cow fights B side guy.
We do know how professional fights are scored and WHY.

Myra cause professional judges always have a valid scorecard.

man come on. This is why I rarely visit boxing forums, buncha fanboys who can’t accept a fighter they admire was bested. If you don’t think GGG won either fight or even worse think Canelo won both, you’re delusional.

He couldnt hurt Canelo in two fights, what makes you think he can crack Canelos granite chin if they fought again?

I actually think the second fight was wider. GGG was outboxing Canelo who apparently walked him down lmao. Young faster GGG (yes he was faster r tards) would have really hurt this guy

Have you seen the “I watched it in half-speed, slow motion, upside down, backwards with the sound off so I know more than anyone” posts yet? Man those are great. Like watching a train wreck.

Please stop expressing your views or stop watching boxing. You're just objectively wrong. Sleek mayweather school? Didn't realise Mayweather took power jabs to the face every round.

You're heavily biased in favour of Canelo watch the fight and actually observe the landed punches. GGG outlands Canelo and a lot of those jabs were powee punches that looked like they had more in it than Canelos so called power punches (a lot of those actually hit GGGs arms and elbows).

Watch again but as fan of boxing and not Canelo.. I know that's hard.. Expecting you to come back next with 12-0 Canelo

Obviously both fights were a robbery...
Canelo's armed career is the closest thing to Mayweather's only with a few more robberies..
Unfortunately it's today's boxing, whoever sells tickets wins fights

GGG was marketed as a killer. a great KO artist that everyone was supposedly afraid of.
with a reputation like that I guess I just expected more out of him against a smaller fighter moving up.
I'll be honest, I watched the first fight on a pretty lousy feed. may be GGG was indeed robbed. I didnt feel so the second time, actually watching the fight on cable TV.
fun fact, I live near Mexico and we get the Azteca channel out here. they play all the PPV fights on about a ten minute delay, in spanish. JC Chavez is part of the broadcast team. it's great getting to catch all the fights.

anyways my point is GGG was the champion in the higher weighht class and he was particularly known to be a brutal KO artist. may be that reputation worked against him in this fight, but it seems like everytime GGG fights a decent fighter whether it be Alvarez, Jacobs .....(I guess that's about it, may be Kell Brooks as well) he fails to dominate and he usually fails to KO them
