Super fast hands, decent pop, poor head movement, good but limited skills?

I can see the parrallels between them already. Do we know if Garcia has a glass chin? His small head/neck looks rather fragile to me.

Ryan Garcia allows his chin to stick out and makes no attempts to tuck it. We won’t know if he’s another Khan until he:

    1. Faces an elite that can bang.
    2. Gets caught with a flush shot.
He’s a kid, playing around, talking trash on social media and enjoying himself. I hope he turns out better than Khan but I don’t see it.

People have started so many Garcia hate threads it’s ridiculous. It’s too early for all this criticism

People hate him because he's very handsome, and because he's very popular despite not having achieved much. He could be a beloved hero soon if he proves his haters wrong, a renaissance for boxing's popularity.

This is why I want him to succeed. I like his style and he'll give the sport a massive boost. Apart from the shirtless ig posts he's quite likeable. Compared to the other douchebag lightweights.

Maybe he has a glass jaw, who knows but golden boy is great at building up fighters look at how they matched canelo.
Every fight at the perfect time.
And the reynosos are great trainers who teach great technique with responsible defense.
Whatever his real potential is, his current team will get the most out of it.

Oscar has the best resume in boxing history next to Ali and Lewis.

ATG resume didn't equate into ATG victories.

Cool that someone else brings this up. Hes exactly the fighter that Garcia reminds me of. And I expect a similar style career when he steps up.

The only thing that might help him, is he seems pretty close with the Canelo camp. Its possible they improve him beyond what he is now.

Garcia will be/is already a pioneer in self promotion through his youtube/insta/tiktok/influencer bubble.

The kid is making more money for nothing off the internet each month than most pro boxers will make during a career.

I can't hate on that. Kid knows his worth.

Would be satisfying to see him get chinned, mind you.
