PBC Fanboys Try To Justify Spence Clout Chasing Canelo

    PBC fanboys are at it again. They're trying to justify Spence clout-chasing Canelo, while he's now obviously blatantly ducking Bud. What are your thoughts?

    You don't duck Crawford to face Canelo, what kind of nonsense is that?

    Beating Canelo does much more for his legacy than beating Crawford.

    It is when you're looking to sell your 0 for a payday while avoiding challengers in your weight class. Canelo is 2-3 weight divisions above Spence & it's obvious he's using Canelo's name for clout & an excuse not to fight Crawford. Canelo has bigger fish to fry and Spence should focus on becoming undisputed in his own division,as he previously said that he wanted all the belts.

    Spence has already fought Brook, Porter and Garcia, he's clearly demonstrated he is willing to face top WW fighters.

    When he said he'll only face Crawford for 60%, I too felt it was a duck, but if he's actually going to secure a fight with Canelo it obviously is not a duck in that case.

    Fair enough. But It still makes sense for him to fight Bud first, become undisputed, then move up.

    Exactly that. Everyone wants a fight with Canelo because he's the cash cow, but not everyone deserves it. Spence - a current WW definitely shouldn't be high on anyone list for being the next potential opponent for Canelo.

    If his next fight is a choice between Bud at WW or Canelo at MW, he will do much more for his legacy by beating Canelo at MW.

    I want him to face Crawford as that's the best fight in the division, but it isn't the best fight full stop.

    Spence did a favor for Mikie Garcia so if Canelo will fight then let them do the fight. This is going to KILL Spence as Big Red will KO him

    I will take this over Spence & PAC or Spence & Bud.

    Spence got a big sac to be going after Big Red. He should watch the Khan fight :boxing1:eek:

    Again Spence did a favor for Garcia for a big PAYDAY so let Spence get that Canelo fight and if he survives then get Crawford :boxing1:bump

    If he fights Bud first and gets beat he more than likely loses any chance of landing a fight with Canelo. If he fights Canelo first and gets beat, the Bud fight can still be made...

    Bud hasn't faced the better competition at 147 than Spence. I don't understand that logic.
