LomaTV: "I want Rematch but He is Scared"

Why does he deserve a rematch? He was so confident of winning that no rematch clause was instated. He then lost a close but clear bout due to strategy and physicality, not due to his own injury. The fact is that Loma is not the ATG he thought he was, and it really eats him up.

Lopez should move to 140 and prepare for the big boys there. He will make better money, possibly add top names to his resume and make weight easier.

 

I thought he hurt his shoulder? Now hes suddenly ok to have an immediate rematch?

It was obvious an uphill battle, he gave height/reach/weight. Its quite obvious, isn`t it ?
As far as the fight, a close one that could have gone either way, Loma as well, so i don`t see anything clear. The scorecards was a complete joke.
Teo took the first part of the match, Loma too the second one, simple as that.

And Loma definitely won some of the few rounds. You know how boxing is scored, round by round. Just because you hurt someone, you don`t get extra points, unless you knock him down. And Loma had him hurt a couples of times, but that doesn`t prove a s....

Isn’t this what you want from a former champion? Would you prefer he run and hide like most guys, taking easy fights? Loma lost a close fight against a younger bigger guy. I’d rather see a rematch than watch Teo fight a bum.

Too bad more fighter don’t have the same attitude. They would rather take easy opponents, easy wins to pad their record and look good as a result. Teo needs to make every effort to make this fight happen or his legacy is tainted. Ducking an older smaller guy who you just beat does not look good for a champion. He talks a big game, it’s time to back it up with action.

If Loma said he didn’t want a rematch, the same idiots slamming him in this thread would be calling him a coward. He’s asking for a rematch. The ball is in Teo’s court. This is what makes boxing great. I hope Lopez doesn’t deprive the fans of a great fight.
