I think not much if they didn't had put clause and like this.
Both of them are great: like fight for undisputed in division and really risky fight. Rarity in modern times.
If he wish and Loma is thinking that he is not too small for 135 lbs division, why not?
Ofc if he is not too old or damaged.

We'll probably get the rematch I think.

Lopez doesn't really have a choice in the matter. If TopRank wants to make it then it'll be made.

Not sure TR wants to make a fight with Haney and im not sure Ryan Garcia really wants any part of Teofimo. The easy choice is the Loma rematch.

I think does have and a lot because if really there is no rematch clause and Lopez now is undisputed.
He might demand even 90/10 purse split in his favour or just move up or fight another guy.

Loma btw I think, if is healthy, might easily make 130 lbs limit for next division. He is small boxer.

The cool thing about boxing is that greatness is determined in the ring not in the trash talking that takes place between fights. If Loma is old and damaged, it should be an easy fight for Teo. He should jump at the opportunity. Loma has the right attitude, always willing to fight the best. He never ducks anyone or tries to pad his record with bums. It’s a tough fight and I give him credit for wanting to make it happen. Lopez talks trash and acts tough. Why would he avoid an older smaller guy, who is the biggest money opponent in the division. Guys talking 90-10 are jerking offf. They really don’t want to see the rematch happen. It should be fair, even if Teo is A side. Boxing fans need to demand great fights and not allow champs to duck and fight bums like so many do these days. Even if Loma is the underdog in the rematch, you have to admire his will to fight the best. If he won a controversial decision against Teo, you know he would have given him a rematch. Two needs to do the same or be labeled as a ducker hiding behind a technicality.

He at least liked me 100000X better than Salido!

Will see. Loma today does not have any belt.

Why not if they wish?

This yeah, not like stuff A.J vs Pulev etc alike boring stuff.

Loma is still the biggest name at the weight as an opponent. I get it, some people don’t want to see great fights. Maybe you are one of these guys. You can talk trash like your ghetto champions and pretend your favorite fighter is an ATG. I just want to see great fights. I’m cool with either guy winning, in this case, as long as it’s a great fight. If Teo hides behind a technicality and refuses to fight Loma, he’s a coward. The sport is boxing, not classless trash talking.

You might wonder that for me for example Dorticos likes a lot. More than A.J for example.
Because he had damn high risk.

ATG name doesn't mean that much. We will not make next boxer like Ali. Never and ever. ATG No1.
Well, I suggest do not judge boxer just as sole entinty.
We do not know contracts they does have with gyms, manager, boxer's promoter etc and clauses there.
We do not know a lot there.

Boxer is only one part of equation.
If rematch might looks that will bring not less money than first fight, then someone in the business might start to attempt negotiate this, sure.

Yes, Lopez may definitely move up and that's that. But if he stays at 135lbs... I don't see where he goes beyond Loma.

Did he really? They seemed to be looking eye to eye at the weigh in. Then again, Loma fans tried to make it like Rigondeaux was Loma's size. Even claiming the man with longer arms (Loma) was at a reach disadvantage

Seems like Loma's fans wanted the rematch more than Loma. That's on Arum and Loma. On to the next.

These excuses are hilarious. Loma and Lopez were looking eye to eye at the weigh in, and both looked like they were in the same weight class during the fight. Loma lost to another lighweight. Give Lopez credit.

Ironic, Loma fought a significant amount of bums during his career to have so few fights, you can't go from fighting Russell Jr. to, Suriya Tatakhun, Gamalier Rodriguez, and Romulo Koasicha. Where did Arum find those cans? Then old arse Anthony Crolla, bum. Then he fought a super bantamweight and a featherweight while he was a 130 pounder. And although Tank tenderized Pedraza for Loma, Tank's son still gave Loma serious issues.

Rigo is small! Small for Loma.
Loma was small for Campbell, if you are not blind.

It will happen

The rematch is bigger than any other fight

The rematch is easier to make than any other fight

Lopez may be another Buster Douglas....or he may be another Pacquiao.
