Who'd win this fight. I got AJ stopping Max Baer late. However i do think Baer stuns Joshua at moments.

Baer will get demolished. While he may have the power to bother AJ, he's just so crude and Joshua will almost certainly land first and often given Baer's leaky defence. I think that even though Baer has an excellent chin, that he's just not going to handle AJ's combination punching well. Joshua is not one of those fighters where you can defend with your face. Joshua is the bigger and better boxer, simple as.

AJ could walk into a ko shot has he did against Ruiz, Maxi can punch a lot harder.
But my money's on Joshua coming thru to stop him, after being dinged himself.

Baer’s always got the proverbial punchers chance and if he tagged Joshua cleanly he could put his lights out.
However I think apart from his obvious physical advantages Joshua is the more skilled and I think he would batter Max to defeat some time after half way.

I think that Joshua should win this fight due to his decent power jab and size advantage, but we know that his durability is questionable. Joshua is clear favorite here, but I wouldn't say that Baer is out of depth here.

I also don't see Joshua stopping Baer early. Max had fantastic chin and Joshua rarely goes early for the kill.

Just watched some of Baer last night on ESPN on demand and the main thing that impressed me was his toughness. Not too skilled at all. If a serious at his best Baer shows up Joshua is in for a long night. I dont have a very high opinion on either fighter

I think Joshua fights cautiously and wins the decision. Far more consistent at a high level, though Baer was dangerous. Use of range is pretty key against Baer which Joshua can do, and Joshua has shown he can win a hard fight or get off the canvas to win more than Baer can.

Baer had a very solid chin, and way too much power for Joshua to want to take many chances.

I favor Joshua because he's superior from a technical standpoint but if he got stopped by Baer I wouldn't be totally shocked. They might trade knockdowns but Joshua wins this one I think. Would be great to see how Joshua does against Wilder.

For now I’d have to go with Baer. I see Joshua having a hard time with Baer’s handspeed, durability, and power.

Switched my pick from Joshua by KO to UD. I think Baer's chin is proven enough to be able to go the distance.

I view Joshua as being a fighter with a high level of class and consistency.

I would probably pick Baer at the moment, owing to the Andy Ruiz loss, but if Joshua continues winning, then I might change my mind.

With both at their best, Baer by KO.

Given the Ruiz debacle, I just have no faith in Joshua surviving a shoot out with Baer. Baer's durability and willingness to take a punch to land one is the difference. Just like with Ruiz, Joshua might rock Baer with a big punch but he won't be ready for the punches coming back. The moment Joshua opens up...it's over, he will get hurt, shell up, and finished.

And I'm not confident in Joshua boxing safety first and Baer at his best letting him off the hook. He's too slow.

Now....if Baer is anything less of his best. He's gonna lose a lopsided decision to a safety first Joshua.
