Still, he's 42 years old. Regardless of what you may think, trust me, losing to him could be suicide for an active fighter's career. Look what happened to Pascal, Tarver and Pavlik after Hopkins. And even though Hopkins is a legend too, he's still not as internationally recognized as Pacquiao is.

Your opinion is worthless. I'll take Pac's word and the words of other fighters. Thurman, Rios, Mikey, Beltran, and others have said that Pac is a lightweight. He just happens to compete at 147 for the big names/money.

Wasn't it the Loma team that balked at the rematch clause?

 Why do you turn in to such a little vagina over a small disagreement? They call Pac a LW, even though hasn't been a LW in well over a decade? grow up man, we aren't enemies in this.

Do you call FMjr a LW too? Or SprFW? Is canelo a JrMW who kicked ass at 168 and 175? I guess when Pac beat Hoya, what was their weight according to you? Both LWs?

You need to get a grip man. You're too much a drama queen here....

Lopez should probably move up to 140 or 147 now.
He's 23 and big for a lightweight. He's been at lightweight since he turned pro at 19.

There is no real life conflict here. I'm just pointing out that your opinion is worthless in this topic.

    Let's summarize again:

Lomachenko expressed interest in the fight. Pacquiao expressed interest in the fight. Bob Arum tried to make the fight. Lomachenko moved the goal post several times and then eventually landed on the excuse that he would be criticized for beating up an old man.

That is all the information that is pertinent to the topic of Lomachenko ducking Pac.

Your OPINION, and it is just your OPINION, that Pac wouldn't be able to make 135-140 and still compete is literally WORTHLESS and IRRELEVANT.

    Get it, dumbass?

    Of course you don't.

Yeah, this seems strange since he had already beaten an older and also smaller man in Rigo. Not that I had any problems with that fight being made, I was interested in it and didn't think it would be as one-sided as it turned out to be, but certainly Pac was both a more interesting opponent legacy wise and a much bigger purse.

Lomachenko turned up in the second half of the fight and was hurting him. That's not something Lopez looks like he's wanting to go through again especially knowing that Lomachenko would be more aggressive earlier in a rematch.

Pac would have destroyed Lomachenko, imo. And I mean destroy. Multiple knockdowns or a violent one punch KO.

Pac is faster, harder hitting, smarter, and tougher than Lopez. I see no path to victory for Lomachenko, honestly. And Lomachenko doesn't have a brute force right hand to keep Pac honest. Lomachenko wouldn't have a chance to breath.

I don't even blame Lomachenko from running from the fight. It is what it is.

Sorry I saw the fight Lopez won clearly hurt Loma and after the fight Loma went for surgery. If Loma wants a rematch he can come up to 140 pounds where Lopez in comfortable but he won’t.

Loma vs Teo trilogy. TLO stops Loma that would be legendary.

Loma bought into his own hype. He believes he's the best fighter to ever lace up gloves.

I'm glad Teo is moving forward, I am getting irritated by the amount of rematches that are insisted on and also signed.

Matchroom/Hearn now has rematch clauses in Non title fights, it's getting too much.
