I dont think Bivol should have to cut to 168 when Canelo has made 175 before just fine. Regardless if Bivol can make it. Both guys should be as strong as possible without the weight cut obstacle. Bivol vs Canelo @175 makes more sense

Exactly, especially because both are gonna be pretty close weight wise on fight night.

The last time somebody outboxed Canelo 116 - 112, they called it a draw. :sisi3:

Bivol is an excellent boxer/puncher. He'd give Canelo hell without the size advantage. He's not a good matchup stylistically for Canelo, he'd make him look ordinary because he's not going to be a sitting duck

Dimitry Bivol himself has stated on more than one occasion that he can drop to 168 to fight for a belt.
No reason for the casuals on here to say what he can or cannot do

In all fairness, Chad Dawson said exactly the same and we all saw how that one panned out. Not only did he take a beating, but his career never recovered.

I dont want to see Bivol move down to 168 and cash out vs Canelo and say he was drained then go back to 175 with his title. Bivol has to move down and beat someone in the top 5-10 of the division first if he is serious about 168.

Bivol can easily make 168, he is a small LHW.

Nope. Canelo will either stack everything in his favour so there's minimal chance of losing or pay him to pitty patty jab throughout the fight and not engagw

He may be a cheat but his skill set is p4p level.
