be a good move for him. I reckon he might keep him on as a manager. Again I don’t think that’s the worst move. Management wise he’s done fine but he definitely needs a new trainer IMO.

Although expensive, Booth is a good fit for Yardes weight and style i feel

Either way a clean break from Tunde is needed

I think Yarde stays with Tunde, as Tunde will convince him that taking on a support coach will be the "change" he needs.

Yarde sees Tunde as a security blanket.

It must be hard for Yarde. On the one hand as a business venture Tunde has been great.

He's taken a fighter with very limited amateur experience and made him a millionaire all on the back of not doing very much. He had to fight a load of road sweepers and dragged up MWs. He had one big night then fighting for a world title which bagged him a massive payday. Add onto that the sponsorship deals has had and let's be fair here, who else with such a small tool box has earned that k8nd of money without having to do that much?

Their camp is a tight mix of cheerleading and backslappers who all sing from the same hymn sheet. They give out the same sound bytes and seem to have a sort of siege mentality pervading their team and inner circle followers.
Sounds a bit like a cult doesn't it. That's why it's going to be hard, emotionally, for Yarde to bin Tunde.

Maybe they'll come out with, it's tunde corner work that needs supporting and bring in some kind of support on fight night. Something like Ben Davison did with Roach and Hatton.
Or you see Jimmy Tibbs helping out a lot in corners, maybe they'll try something like that.
I just don't think Yarde will separate from Tunde

I said this on another thread.

When Frank was ducking the Yarde question slightly. I think he has been on at him to bin Tunde as a trainer but obviously couldn't Express that publicly.

Would wager Frank has been doing a lot on this behind the scenes. I think he wanted to dump his after the Kov fight. Seem to remember him alluding to things

Tunde has been a terrible trainer but done a great job management wise.

I had a slight inkling Coldwell would train Yarde since he only has Gill, Price and Richards currently, but then I remembered Coldwell refuses to work with Frank Warren and Queensberry.

Ideal, Tunde stays as manager, Yarde goes to Ingle.

And we get to watch Liam William's jumping round screaming Lions in the Camp.

Should say I have no idea in practical terms if Ingle could take him on. Very loose view the movement etc could help Yarde from Ingles style.

But I just want to see a miserable Welshman screaming "LIONS"

Not sure how much he can learn and achieve now. He's missed out on the benefits of having a amateur career so he was already trailing behind in terms of technical development. Throughout his pro career he's missed out on thousands of hours sparring world class fighters around the world because his coach kept him in a bubble.

The myth is exposed now. Physical attributes only get you so far. He's got a Ferrari engine but he's no idea how to drive it.

Yeah the no sparring thing is quite baffling, it reeks of arrogance.

I think Booth would be a good fit stylistically, even young Shane McGuigan but it might just be too late in the day for him.

The career is a short one, & your prime is even shorter. If Yarde doesn’t get another trainer he’ll be regretting it forever wondering how far he could’ve gone
