It's weird, in fact it's beyond weird. It's like some psychotic obsession. What's funny is that it was actually Jacobs who had to be offered 15% more than his rightful purse split and the fight on home turf to persuade him to take the title shot.
Jacobs has had close fights with Golovkin, Canelo and Derevyanchenko and I don't believe any of those have had a rematch thus far. But I don't think anyone doubts the top two active MW fighters in the world right now are Golovkin and Charlo, hence why I want to see them fight. Winner is MW King and can move up to SMW and claim the Canelo prize.

Yes, but the difference is that while GGG is shamelessly begging for the rematch with Canelo, Jacobs, Chenko, and even Canelo with Floyd haven't obsessed over the rematch.
Jermall has the speed and power to stop GGG. He's young enough to be able to withstand some shots to get his in. They've both been pillars in that division for a few years now and there's never really been serious discussions of a fight to my knowledge.
