What does that have to do with Golovkin vs Charlo?

Don’t understand why suddenly Charlo is a threat?

This guy had a lot of trouble with shot Korobov who was on a short notice, why he will be a threat to GGG?

    He did better against Derevyanchenko.

He's the next best active MW.

    Golovkin is another year older.

Charlo is not the WBC mandatory, he is the WBC champion and has been since winning the full belt vacated by Alvarez against Brandon Adams.

What that has to do with Golovkin is not quite clear. As stated above, there have never been any serious discussions about this fight from either side.

Korobov is a tricky and very skilled southpaw who Charlo fought on short notice too. I believe Korobov was actually better than the guy Charlo had been scheduled to fight.
So Charlo had a week to prepare and stuggled. . At least he took the challenge in the first place.

When Golovkin had 5 weeks to find a replacment opponent for Canelo he dragged a 154 pounder out of a two year retirement into the ring. . GGG would never have fought a guy like Korobov on a weeks notice

No, you asked why isn't he fighting Jacobs in a rematch instead, I answered that Jacobs has had 3 close fights none of which have been given a rematch.

This fight is about Charlo and Golovkin, and more importantly who you feel would win a fight between the two.

So forget all your usual fanboy battle stuff and just answer the question, if the fight happened next, who would you favour?

If Golovkin beat Charlo would you give him credit for that?

he was lucky to get the W, dont think he'll be looking to run it back anytime soon with Jacob's.
I gotta say though I was disappointed with Jacob's in both the GG and the Canelo fight. the opportunities were there for him to steal some close rounds but he failed to capitalize

GGG is only getting better. He had a very solid opponent, and literally did whatever he wanted all fight.
