He may baeat Munguia, but Im not sure how anyone could call a 24 year old, 36 fight former titlist whose beaten numerous ranked fighters "green".

Hes levels of expwerience above GGGs last opponent

He dominated Murray, was incredibly one sided. Didn't lose a round, barely lost a second of it.

Does Munguia actually have a strong following?

GGG can stay busy against top contenders

    Murata isn’t a bad scalp

You'd think someone with Canelo's status would be above being forced his mandatory challengers. Floyd....Oscar....Manny... ALL gave that crap up at their positions atop the world of boxing well before retirement.

Normally I'd agree..but he's fresh off leathering Callum Smith..might as well keep his momentum going..he can pick n choose who he fights and call the shots...and he's prime...he could just go for a more legacy defining fight for me while he's at his peak rather than fight a guy who Chris eubank jnr banged out ffs lol

That would be a good route. He did say he wanted to unify 168 and clean it out. If he doesn't fight his mandatory he loses the belt.

I would have a problem with him if his next fight was another C level contender.

Considering he usually only fights in May and Sept but is taking an extra fight in Feb. I have no issues and think it's good he keeps active.

Just like ggg last fight, Canelo also needs a easy stay busy fight after coming from ggg, Jacobs , Kova and Smith.

I'm not talking about GGG...but his last fight was ass as well..least it was a mandatory n he'd been out of the ring for abit
