Porter turned down 1 million dollar offer to fight Crawford https://www.boxingnews24.com/2020/1...e/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook&
Team Porter should totally make a counteroffer with what they feel fair payment for Crawford, then take all the TV money and gate income, which is... well good luck with that.
It doesn't sound a bad offer to me. If porter thinks he can win then he gets more money in future fights. Maybe its a first offer I'm not to interested in the business side of things. Hopefully an agreement is made
This just goes to show why Crawford isn’t landing fights against good competition. Porter made $2 million against Spence and $1 million recently against Formella, so Crawford and Arum definitely knew Porter wouldn’t fight take this fight for $1 million. I don’t see guys like Mikey Garcia, Porter, or Thurman fighting Crawford for less than $3 million. Crawford’s side needs to make a real offer if they really want to land good fights. Crawford’s starting to look like as much of a lowballer as GGG.
Porter s not going to make that much fighting anyone else. If he wants to fight Crawford, he should accept the offer.
Didn’t he make the same amount of money fighting that German guy? If so, he shouldn’t take that bs offer from arum
