Means nothing especially when charlo beats the **** outta ggg and 90% of the people who voted for ggg you included won't give charlo an ounce of credit after he wins. Most of these polls on esb don't mean **** and have no credibility.
If your on about a certain fighter in particular Canelo knew about that power and had to be more wary than any fight we have seen him in since Lets be real here
In the first fight, when he moved up in weight, in his first fight at MW, against the supposed Monster GGG was? Yes, he naturally was more weary? In the rematch he beat him Mexican style. How about this, the monster power puncher that GGG was supposed to be was reduced to a jabber in both fights by a JrMW!
Lol i aint getting in to a GGG Canelo debate with you Ive seen your back and forths and skip them as its the same old same old every thread
Id give Charlo huge props if he were to win but i honestly think he gets smashed up Punches are too heavy for him to take for 12 rounds
You don't have too get into a debate with me, there is no need since I just made my point. You said Canelo was weary of GGG's power, but Canelo is known to be a boxer puncher with slick defense. I pointed out that GGG was the fighter who fought most out of character out of the two, in both fights, so clearly GGG was more weary of Canelo's power, speed, and timing than Canelo of Golovkin's, especially in the second fight.
I was just told that Charlo never proved he was elite, but Charlo took JRock’s head off and outclassed D-Chenko in a way that Jacobs and GGG (gift) didn’t. So when did GGG prove he was elite?
I researched it today, GGG beat 11 contenders rated by Ring magazine, since I don’t trust alphabet ratings. Out of those eleven, he stopped nine of them. That’s wiping out of the division, even if it’s a weak division. Whether you like it or not, GGG was elite during his reign and his era. AND don’t even get me started on the fact that his first fight with Clenelo, he got robbed blind. All I need to know about any idiot who claims they’re a fan, had Clenelo winning the first fight.
You’re showing your emotive affinity for GGG. You just went to stats because he never outclassed any high caliber fighters in elite fashion. He cleaned out a weak division—except for the best fighters in the division like Saunders, Maravilla, Pirog, Cotto, and Quillin—finally stepped up, and was fortunate to go 1-1-1 against Canelo and Jacobs. I didn’t even name Trout and Korobov on Charlo’s resume because those fights were competitive. GGG doesn’t have the dominant wins over solid opposition like Jermall did with J Rock and D-Chenko. Lemieux, Stevens, and those guys weren’t on that level.
