I voted Golovkin but I will preface it by saying I did not see the Charlo vs S.D fight yet. From what I have seen I think Charlo is a good fighter but limited and Golovkin has enough to win. I did think Golovkin lost to S.D and has been matched soft lately with Rolls and Szermeta but even so he still has power, defense, balance, jab, and a good punch variety. Now my opinion could change if I watch Charlo vs S.D and get swayed by it At this moment I've seen Golovkin, he is a known commodity, Charlo is still a question mark for me. I think it is an interesting fight and I'd like to see it
thats why my pick lacks real certainty. I'd read the takeaways from this fight and I saw plenty of people stating how good of win it was for Charlo. I really need to watch it before I can form a full opinion on this For me Golovkin has clearly slowed down but I feel his skills and experience can still see him through tough fights kind of like whats going on with Roman Gonzalez
I don’t think think so. There’s a dramatic difference in how Charlo and GGG dealt with D-Chenko. I think GGG is hittable in a way that Gonzalez isn’t. Gonzalez is also only in his early thirties.
just a comparison, Gonzalez did suffer a brutal KO and the little guys seem to age faster. That said I'll have to take your word on the Charlo vs S.D fight since I havent seen it yet but look forward to seeing what everyone has been talking about
