GG fans expect Alvarez to fight him as many times as it takes, but how many rematches has GG ever...

I did some research for the haters.

All of these guys were RING rated, top 10 at 160.

    Proska
    Macklin
    Stevens
    Geale
    Murray
    Monroe Jr.
    Lemieux
    Rubio
    Jacobs
    Derev
    Szeremeta

11-0, 9 stoppages. You clowns know how hard it is to stop top 10 guys? He nearly stopped ALL of them.

Let me know when Clenelo stops nearly all of his opponents. 9 of his last 15 have gone the distance.

Explain to me what either Jacobs or dervy did before fighting GGG and what have they done after Iacons was considered an easy win vs a guy who got dropped by mora and Dervy was considered the guy who lost to Jacobs them fighting GGG and giving him a tough time is the ONLY reason anybody mentions them at all

dude GGG paid the ibf to move Szeremeta yo the rankings before the fight was announced he was unrated at 160 and didn’t have a fight in between to gain a rating.. ain’t no fanboy y’all just stans everything I said is factual.
In the multiple belt era where is so easy to win and everybody’s a champ you just listed you 10 dudes who are best know for losing to good fighters and never beating good fighters.
When comparing Canelo and GGG I’d take a guy having competitive fights vs elite comp over a guy knocking over bums.. but that’s just me

I am well aware of the CW history. No one liked it until their favorites started to do it. That seems to include you. And now, you blame the one NOT accepting a CW title fight rather then the one shamelessly trying to offer it. No integrity at all...

He's the kind of poster who thinks only champion or P4P fighters should have large fan bases....

I'm curious: Why Kovalev? The Russian's punch resistance had clearly deteriorated, his questionable stamina had seemingly become even more of an issue as he aged (and drank himself to death in between fights), and his right hand had very clearly lost some of its electrifying "snap."

Had Canelo beaten Kovalev of 4-5 yeas ago....well, then I'd have no argument.

again dude I’m still not a big fan of catchweight title fights but if you call out fighters from 3 divisions you can’t dodge fights over weight

Nah bro I’m just a realist outside of the Quillin fight Jacobs had been knocked down or dropped by damn near every fighter he fought over a 3/4 year span going into the fight NOBDOY cared about Jacobs or called him any type of top fighter it was him arguably beating GGG that made ppl try to prop him up the same with Dervy hasn’t beaten 1 notable opponent and is best known for losing to Jacobs before the fight and is only touted as some quality fighter for again arguably beating GGG dude has lost 3 fights in a row.

Going up to 175 to face Krusher was still a risk.
Was Krusher fresh off a do or die fight? YES
Was he allowed time to recover? NO
Was he the same guy from 18 months ago?
    Heck NO
Was he still a higher risk than Rocky, Danny J, Khan, Cheeseburger Jr and Kirkland?
    YES
Was he still a gamble for Canelo?
    YES
Krusher was out boxing Big Red for the majority of that fight

Jacobs was a top fighter at 160. The **** are you talking about??? Same w/ SD, simply a top fighter at 160. What, they weren't? Were they supposed to be top 3 P4P for you to accept them?

You don't have the brain power to discuss boxing critically. Just an overly cynical poster on a message board....just another casual overstayed his welcome.

He didn't call out a fighter from 3 divisions. And even if they did....dafuq that have to do with CW at title fights?

I mean I can easily bump some threads but that’s a little to extra I’m not that emotionally invested like that, no dude you don’t have to be P4P but how about beat another top fighter how about win a title considering it so many out there. Honestly your right this generation has turned me into a semi casual all these fighters lack ambition ducking and dodging fights begging for a payday without really fighting anybody. That’s the ONLY reason I vouch for Canelo along with a few other fighters because whatever you wanna say he takes the fights.
Took less vs Cotto and GGG moved up for titles took a catchweight for Floyd for the most part fights nothing but Champs and top rated fighter after top rated fighter hell even if I don’t think much of these guys at least he’s beating them all.

meanwhile y’all want me to be impressed by Szeremeta who was like the 40th rated MW before GGG paid the IBF to make him mandatory.

As far as the catchweight thing I looked at it like this Cotto was a bigger star and the biggest name for GGG, Cotto who himself has acquiesced to a catchweight before himself who also was granted a catchweight by the legit champ in Martinez him asking GGG for the fight at 157/58 was reasonable especially when GGG was claiming 54-68 and that everybody was scared..
Personally I was a ggg fan before a Canelo fan but Canelo turned out to be what GGG claimed he was 54-75
