I remember Vito Antuofermo repeated it in an interview but a few wise heads in this forum basically discounted it immediately as being impossible to have happened due to timing.

I don't remember which boxer it was, but they drank a liquid in the corner and then they made a comeback in a fight they were losing and got the ko win.

Not really. Scoring a fight is subjective for the most part. Personally, I'd probably score the round for the fighter that successfully defended all of the aggressive fighters punches. In reality though you don't really see that and when you do it's ultra rare. What actually ends up happening is the pure boxer spends the round circling the ring and not throwing many punches while the opposite fighter is busy throwing punches trying to make the fight. Usually the aggressive fighter still manages to land some punches even if they miss a very large percentage. Then you have a sleeper of a fight. I don't want to watch sleepers. You can still appreciate beautiful boxing without wanting to take a nap.

At the end of the day its a fight. You can't beat up your opponent without hitting them. Sure you can make them miss and look unskilled but at best you have a draw. Now if the pure boxer were to not only make the aggressive fighter miss heavily but also landed a high percentage of his own punches then I would absolutely score the fight for the pure boxer. That's boxing. Hit without getting hit is the name of the game. Not just hit and not just not getting hit.
