I think it's too early to completely disregard his chances he did lose to a guy who should of won Olympic Gold.

Dubois has clear talent problem is talent alone doesn't win world titles. He's still young and has time to improve, he should have stayed amateur really and learned more as he would of been competing at a higher level consistently with each big competition instead of being fed journeymen for 3 years and learned nothing.

Maybe he can do what Whyte did after losing to Joshua and improve enough to be a genuine top 10 heavyweight but then again maybe he goes the way of Danny Williams, loads of talent but never goes much beyond domestic level because he can't fix his flaws or add enough new skills to compete at a higher level.

I can't disagree with anything you've said. Only thing I would add is that any genuine prospect would have had far more scoring success against lumbering JJ. We're talking about a guy who is closer to the end of his career than the beginning and has never competed at anything approaching world title level.

He doesn't seem that skilled to me. He has great physical attributes so if he also had great skill he wouldn't have been so soundly beaten at this level. I hope we don't hear 5 more years of this rhetoric before people realize Dubois isn't that good like we did with Eubank jr. British fans seem to hang on to overrated prospects far longer than any other country.

2021 will be the year Fury is stripped of his belt, for ducking his rematch obligations! The president of the wbc is looking into this now! Wilder Ortiz 3!

Fury came back because of these frauds Wilder & AJ mocking him.

Hell hath no Fury like a fighting man scorned.

    AJ is getting it.

You call out a gypsy man to a fight then you better be willing to fight to the death. A boxing ring has a 12 round limit to save them though.

Yes he isn't skilled at all other than a good but predictable jab. I was one of those who predicted Joyce would beat him, Dubois has physical ability but no real craft or skill to his game. But even Tyson Fury early in his career was lucky to beat McDermott and was a far less skilled fighter than he is today, skills can be learned if you have the mindset and will to improve. Dubois like Fury has time to improve but I'm not sure he has the mindset and will Fury had to turn himself from a talented domestic level fighter to a true elite heavyweight.

Yes Brit fans tend to not just immediately throw fighters on the trash heap just because they lose or get exposed. We in general like under dogs we don't just back winners, if we like a fighter or any athlete or team we stick with them through thick and thin for the most part.

    Winner of the year

Never has to think about fighting Fury ever again

AJ will not sleep in till his beating is handed out.

That weight loss to 240 pounds overnight isn't because a little fat man named Ruiz dropped him all over the shops, it's from the stress of thinking about Fury.

I know Loma's made up some BS but he's got ways to go to match Wilder's excuses. And Wilder got ragdolled around the ring and embarrassed.

Wilder just need to get his head out of sand and score a few wins...KO somebody like Ruiz or Otto Wallin and he is back in the picture of top heavyweights. He can fight Joshua/Fury winner or loser and even win all the belts.
    He still got that power.

Right now he is just feeling sorry for himself and putting out crazy excuses....which are totally unnecessary.

Wilder and Trump were definitely the biggest sore losers of 2020.

Respect to Wilder for giving Fury the rematch. He could have ducked him and made excuses but he gave him a rematch and the rest is history. Wilder is still top five, at HW, maybe higher. If he’s smart, he should avoid Fury for now. Beat a couple lesser fighters and build up some hype for the rematch. He will lose but it will create some interest, assuming Fury doesn’t lose his mind again and drop off a cliff.
