I've had 2 ex workmates die and my wife has had a much needed op cancelled twice due to the ICU being full of covid patients.
I manage 285 staff 15 currently off postive with 2 in hospital Numerous other isolation notes for staff with symptoms that we are sending home on a daily basis It exists and is no joke
Well here's another thing that's fishy, if it's apparently only vul Im sorry, but no. I don't need to be in denial. It is what it is at the end of the day. Im not vulnerable and I've survived worse than Covid. Ive looked at all the facts since this whole thing kicked off. And because I have brain cells my facts extend beyond merely letting the BBC and Sky news take a dump in brain at 6pm sharp every evening which is about as far as 95% of the country gets with anything. How anybody can watch the circus that is the main stream news and politics and belive that it's actual reality is beyond me. If it is then we're absolutely fooked and it's not Covid 19 that we shoukd be fretting about.
How thick are they to realise you would need staff to staff the new hospitals? That said Schools are perfectly safe places, apart from the potential transmissions when kids get home.
We still make people do it now for anyone entering the country. The Pakistan cricket team almost got sent home for breaking isolation rules haha.
Yeah that's another thing. My eldests come home with about 4 colds since she went back to school in September.... No sign of this super infectious, highly contagious, disease so deadly you need a test to know if youve had it though... Still, definitely 100% necessary to plunge half the country into financial turmoil though, obviously.
Isn't the point, that it been taken more seriously then all the draconean messure's would not have been needed as much? The more we diver the worse the measures have to be. Also - the kids aren't likely to be ill, but are able to spread it.
Joe Public walks through the airport and told to self isolate - there is no virtually no policing of this and based on trust. Professional sports people are properly monitored and the frequent testing/vigilant public catches out any offenders.
