Everybody knows DAZN is garbage all around and quite frankly Mora along with Lennox are the worst commentators in the business. Hopefully Roy Jones returns to commentating soon.

 

His HBO contract will be null & void soon. By the End of this year I believe.

 

Sergio mora is unbearable. How he got a job as a color analyst is beyond me. I have no idea why they haven't hired Paulie or rjj yet. DAZN the whole team is trash they need to do something asap.

maybe if an Eastern European commentator could sputter a few sentences together you would not hate them either.

anyways, Jones is an insightful commentator who often predicts scenarios before they actually play out in the fight.

his insight & colorful commentating is missed by many fight fans not just the posters of this forum.

 

From top to bottom, their production just seems ...... second rate. Literally every aspect.

When they were brand new, ok. But this far into it? They’re in some serious need of quality control reflective action.

 

I dont HATE any fighter I just have the utmost respect for some & no respect for others. I dont care if a fighter is from Kazakhstan or Kentucky, & does he fight clean with no corruption backing him.

 

Enjoyed the broadcast without hearing any commentary, had it on the tv whilst playing D&D because I am a loser. Who was the guy next to fat Hatton and why does he keep being put on the broadcasts?

He's filipino and he seems to be a total dumb ass. I don't mind people making mistakes but what I hate is someone like this, having this job when he obviously dksab. There's got to be decent ring announcers out there who know enough about the fight scene to get McGuigans name right ffs! When DAZN hire ring announcers at least ask the candidate a couple of boxing related questions please. With this guy, it seems they probably only asked one boxing related question at the interview, perhaps 'have you heard of Manny Pacquiao?' .

 

Hate that camera view as well. Sometimes trying to be different isn't always the best thing to do.

Over the years Ive seen many ring announcers Some good Some not so good. The best for me has been Jimmy Lennon jr He is the consumate professional. He has every fighters record, he visits the dressing rooms & learns the correct pronunciation of every fighters name. You very rarely hear him make a mistake. Another guy who was the same was Marc Beiro he did the same. It was tragic that his eyesight started to fail him
On the other hand a standing joke here in Ft Worth Texas a few years back when they held a Cedric Kushner Heavyweight Explosion card. Buffer welcomed everyone to " A Night of World Class Professional Wrestling" LOL Then when interviewing Ft Worth's future 2x world champ
bantam weight Paulie Ayala he introduced him as " Paulie Ayala the NABF HEAVYWEIGHT Champion. Paulie later laughed about it he said "I wish I was HW champ my paycheck would have been a whole lot bigger lol
Some wise guy said " If that hot blonde was sat by you instead of him you'd make a mistake or two wouldnt you " lol Great Memories
