Not true never heard any of my Mexican hombres refer to him as such. If anything they cross the border into the USA to watch his fights. I enjoy their company as they love their boxing.
Your " Mexican Hombres " must be those little 13 yr old girls that scream & swoon over him then I guess . 80% of the fighters, trainers etc in gym here are Mexican & they despise him.
As a rule I don’t associate with 13 year old girls only their sisters over 18 year olds and preferably there much older aunties and mummies.
Someone else in GGG's shoes would have spent their whole career below 160. He's not a tiny MW but he's smaller. There's a decent career's worth of good fights at 160 for him right now, just make any of them. It's a "where there's smoke, there's fire" situation for me. I don't like it but there also isn't anyone I can point to who I absolutely know is clean. Some must be, but I can't tell you with certainty. Same is true in any other sport.
I think 168 is a better weight at this time for Canelo than 160. He looks pretty imposing at 168 and also in his LH match vs Kovalev. In fact, I think he was more vulnerable (to slick and quick boxers) at 160 than at 168 and 175.
