This is getting off topic, but cars... really? See my avatar? Give me a 700 or 800hp Challenger or Charger any day over some overpriced German or Japanese car. Nothing like the roar of a big liter V8 engine :pontiac:

Callum Smith and Luke Campbell can confirm that Kell wasn't lying.

Gimmie an old E-type Jag, DB9 or Maserati Granturismo any day over a Challenger. Don't get me wrong they are cool but the high end European cars are on another level!

Anyway... yeah well off topic. lol.

sure, but as an average joe, a maserati is out of reach, it may as well be a unicorn...but i can get a 700hp challenger if i really want one. thats america. and even then, you could probably find more maseratis in the states than you will find in italy. im glad you dont sound like you have an inferiority complex about america, like some of these other posters seem to have. i criticize america for plenty of things, and we are behind other parts of the world on many things, but what were talking about here, america is boss.

Fair point (on the cars). I guess it's like Colonel Sanders vs Gordon Ramsey or something. Ha.

I paid 50k for my 2015 Charger Hellcat slightly used, only 6k miles. For a while I thought 707 hp was enough, decided it wasn't and put a pulley kit and tune on it for nearly 900whp (about a 1000hp crank). That's reliable power too from a big ass V8. A comparable RS7 or M5/M6 would have been over 6 figures at the time, not all of us are rolling in money.

Not to mention something about American V8's that's just unique.

That's fair, to be honest I always thought Dodge Chargers and Challengers were more pricey. Probably are outside America, you don't see many over here in Australia I have to say.

Just had a quick google looks like $150k AU is about the going rate, up to $300k AU for the flashier ones. Or roughly $120k-$230k US.

well, i kinda got mixed up. it seems i can go to my local dealer and get a new maserati granturismo for 50k, while a new challenger srt hellcat, with 717 hp for 60k. in europe, the cheapest new car that can give you 700 hp will start at 300k. i prefer the access im given in america to these things.

$50K US? You are basically robbing them for that.

lol, yes. just having a laugh. a 2019 granturismo convertible with less than 1k miles would set me back 163k. what a 2 bedroom house on half acre would cost in my area.

Right, whereas Stiverne, Martin, and Wilder, speak to the appalling quality of the recent crop of American heavyweights.

By contrast, Britain in the last 5+ years Britain has had Haye, Fury (both), Price, Joshua, Chisora, Whyte, Joyce, Dubois, and others I forget.

Granted, most aren't anything special, but they are all miles better than anything America has produced in recent times.

Add in Usyk, Pulev, and Parker, and Europe and Australia have provided the rest.

Even Ruiz, who people on here treated like the second coming of Mike Tyson, was systematically shut out and beaten in his rematch by a sub par AJ.

Most of the top fighters in the U.S are Latinos who are loyal to Mexico or Puerto Rico.

Crawford and Spence are the only two of note that are fighting as Americans, plus Haney and Davis too I suppose.

Oh, and just in you are one of those who get confused, Canelo is a Mexican trained by Mexicans.

The way forward for British boxing is..

Mexican Beef or Wild Boar Testicles and we will be back on a level playing field.
