That wasn't your question. Your question was, did the judge fail to take a point.

My opinion on that would be that I think a point would suffice. DQ is way too harsh. Just imo.

By the time Canelo retires, he will rank above Ward.

I thought he clearly lost first and he won by low blow in rematch while behind on points and Kovalev wanted a 3rd fight hardly took his soul. I agree he was on his way to stopping him but the Krusher was an alcoholic by then.

As far as resume goes Canelo is a 4 weight champion and on paper beat or been the man in all four, Ward has in 2. Canelo has already pretty much done what Ward did in those weight classes at world level and he's going to go on and do more, plus he's done it at another 2 weight classes.

Ward should come out retirement and fight him.

I thought Canelo only deserved a draw vs Golovkin and a loss in those fights, think he edged Lara and Trout but he's improved a lot since those two fights.

Ward fought a fantastic level of competition at SMW winning the super 6 the only man to stop Kessler kicked Froch ass which even Froch could not deny beat Kovalev and took his unified belts at Light Heavyweight when Kovalev was at his best. Kovalev always drank Vodka Ward beat him both times. First fight closer in the 2nd fight as Max Kellerman said in commentary Ward was winning the story of the fight. Great fighters find a way to win which is what Ward did.

He didn't stop Kessler. It was a technical decision after the fight was stopped due to cuts caused by head clashes.

He didn't stop Kessler he beat him by technical decision after head butting him and causing him injuries. That doesn't count as a KO look it up got yourself on boxrec.
