Watched the first Tyson v Bruno again today on YouTube and Bruno gave a good account for himself in that fight. Brutally beaten, but I doubt Joshua would make more than 2 rounds against Iron Mike.

    Bruno by KO for me.

Amazing how people now seem to see Bruno. He never beat a live one. The names on his record were either retired or fresh out of rehab, in McCall's case, about to go into it.
Joshua would let him do his thing for a couple of rounds, time his jab and start to counter it. Without his jab, Frank was bang ordinary.
Joshua anytime after five with Frank doing that thing where it looks like he's been switched off.

I will always maintain Bruno was much better than he gets given credit for.

Stopped on his feet against Lewis and Bruno gave Lewis a tough nights work, watch it, Lewis didn't have it his own way.

Stopped on his feet against Tyson, the first fight that was a Tyson that was undefeated and the most feared fighter on the he planet.

Bruno only lost to world champions or future world champions.

I would say it's a 50/50, if Lewis struggled and had a tough night with Bruno them I will say AJ would have had a tough night too... AJ has stamina issues in my opinion, maybe not as bad as Brunos were but he definitely starts to blow.

Maybe.. Whoever lands first wins, Bruno could bang, he was a dangerous man and I believe AJ's power is seriously overrated, he isn't a huge one punch finisher like Wilder for example.

But AJ punches hard enough to hurt and stop people but when a 40 year old Pulev is taking uppercuts and pulling faces and screaming war then you don't punch hard enough to just walk through a Frank Bruno.

Agree, 50/50 is about right to me.

Lewis is one of the ATG heavyweights in my opinion and Bruno gave him all he could handle, sure Bruno was stopped but up until the stoppage it was rather even.

And that's a great point, Bruno's jab was very good, excellent actually, Bruno's problem was stamina, always was.

Also, when Bruno was hit it looked like he froze, he seemed like he was stunned and he didn't understand how to hold and clinch.

Where AJ's problems are recovery and stamina in my opinion, when he gets hit he stays hit, against Whyte early on in his career he was hit ans hurt and took rounds to recover enough to force a stoppage.

Same with old man Wlad, took AJ rounds to get back on top.

Same with Ruiz, but it finally caught up with him and Ruiz didn't let him catch life again.

AJ's stamina issues stem from his bulked up body, the slimmer he is the more energy he seems to have but he looks less powerful, so he hasn't found his optimal weight yet in my opinion.

When you consider how AJ ran away from ruiz in the second fight, knowing that this tubby little guy stopped him, how would he be knowing that Frank has the capability to spark him with either hand, the fear alone would have him gassing by the end of the first.

Lewis was awful in that bout and Bruno out-jabbed him, it was a pretty poor fight.

Utter nonsense, do you have a fully furnished apartment up AJs butt, you appear to be that far up it...

That's true. But look at AJ's record.
His best wins are 39 and 41 year old men.

Frank made him look awful. It was a Bruno master class. If he had decent stamina he would have won that.

Nothing to do with stamina imo he got caught with a good shot and couldn’t recover

Partly because he was gassing. He did have a weak chin though .

If Aj fights defensively on the back foot then a comfortable 12 round shutput on points for AJ.

If AJ fights more offensively then a mid- late round KO win for AJ but with Bruno putting up a decent fight and rocking AJ once or twice.

A Bruno masterclass in which he was starched. Says it all.
