Spinks won clearly when both were at their best and weighed virtually the same. Not sure why a well tuned Spinks who outweighed a slower, stubbier Qawi wouldn’t fare at least as well. Could be missing something, though.
I think I'd favor Spinks here but I wouldn't be surprised if Qawi had his moments and made it a competitive fight.
Agreed. Qawi was even older and slower at cruiser. Spinks would win again and this time probably by stoppage
