AJ is no different to Wilder excluding that he has the classical form down. Something Fury is well past...AJ's footwork isn't good enough to give Fury any issues. Wary of AJ's offence early doors but he will unravel just like Wilder. If you're going to beat Fury you have to be willing to take his shots and TRUST your chin. AJ does not have that AT ALL.
Actually. Nandrolone Fury will have to fight Wilder again by the looks of it and he will not want to do that. He would rather fight another bum then go into the AJ fight. If he knew what he was doing, he wouldn't have signed a contract to fight Wilder a third time. Instead he would have fought his mandatory, or someone in the top 30, or someone decent, or someone with a pulse...
Also, I will absolutely love reading all of the backtracking comments after the AJ Fury fight. Fury has so many of you guys conned based off one fight with Wilder, who was ready for the taking. Wilder dought bums to keep his belt, just like Fury wants to. The difference is, Fury can't do it now because he sighed a contract with Wilder. So it is forcing him to fight someone decent hahaha. You cannot make this stuff up.
He went toe to toe with a far far more powerful Klitschko. Fury doesn’t have KO power. Pack it in miniq. No one is scared of him.
Cunningham was top 10 at heavyweight after being quite successful in the weight class and Fury is the only man to ever stop him. Not a bad KO win to have.
AJ was so scared of a morbidly obese Mexican Oliver Hardy lookalike he underwent a radical style change from a front foot destroyer to a running man even though he's built like a brick excrement house and he's still so mentally scarred by the ass-whooping he received from them in their first fight he was petrified of getting clipped by a senior citizen Bulgarian janitor's right hand who isn't a concussive puncher. AJ might not have been scared of most of those other guys he fought, and we must afford him credit for that, but he is scared of trading with an obese Mexican Oliver Hardy lookalike and he's undeniably terrified of Tyson ''The Gypsy King'' Fury and just gypsy men in general and with good reason too. I don't even hold that against him because we're just built different. ''Well there you go everyone Anthony Joshua just shat hisself live on television. He got asked if he wanted the fight and he went around the bushes and he put his ass in the hedge'' --Tyson ''The Gypsy King'' Fury
Oh and I forgot. He's also terrified of Michael ''The Bounty'' Hunter and I don't blame him for that either
That's what you'd like to think I guess. Cunningham was tough, very fast and a good mover, would've given any heavyweight trouble, win or lose.
Don’t think he’d have been competitive with Wlad, Povetkin or AJ. All would have bull dozed through him.
He'd likely have been stopped but he was one hell of a crafty operator and I think some of the more robotic boxers would've struggled greatly with him until their physicality pulled through later on much like what happened with Fury. I don't expect him to get blown out early, he had been dropped a number of times in his career early in fights only to come back strong in them. Albeit the super big heavies could have changed that pattern. Kind of like how I imagine Usyk gets along with the top heavies currently.
I'm not into this debate about AJ vs Fury like some of you Zealots are and don't have a horse in the race per se, but after seeing Joshua flee in fear from Butterball Ruiz in the rematch I have zero confidence in his confidence. Looked very fragile and I'd be surprised if he won't fold like a house of cards against a master psychologist like Fury.
Jesus you're one hell of a hater, even coming with the nicknames straight from the perpetually offended matchroom twitter brigade. Guess what? If you're gonna fanboy, do it without taking it so seriously.
I actually find it so bizarre that Fury fans accuse AJ of being mentally weak when Fury is the one who has had multiple mental breakdowns and seems unable to handle daily life, very odd. Obviously nothing wrong with Fury struggling to cope with his mental health, he obviously has issues and it’s good he’s getting help with it but to say he is somehow mentally strong is just nonsense. There is no shame in Fury being a mentally weak person, the stigma surrounding it is being broken down and the fact he has mental health issues and is open about it should be celebrated by his fans, not swept under the rug, pretending that he’s a mentally strong person.
