MUST WATCH BOXING SURVEY - FINAL RESULTS

Less than 2 weeks until the deadline!

 

I'm going to begin logging these next week. So I'm starting right at the beginning, and I will quote each submission as I go.

Changes are still allowed up until the deadline. But I'm hoping those who've already submitted can ensure their best to finalize them.

It will probably take me a solid 4-6 weeks after the deadline to organize everything into a presentation. Might even take longer. So the deadline will, in reality, stretch past the official deadline. In other words, I will NOT close the Survey until everything is logged. So it will probably stretch 1-2 weeks longer. But it might only be a day or two, conceivably. So I still STRONGLY encourage all to get lists in before the deadline. And once I AM caught up, I'm closing it to sort the results and take the next steps.

So in short, I'm asking those who've already submitted to try and finalize any tweaks. And I'm likewise asking any interested parties who've not yet submitted to still try and do so before the 'official deadline'.

FYI - I officially am going with THIS as the SCORING SYSTEM. I updated the first page reflecting such. It will still be based on the SCORING SYSTEM from the All Time Survey (Part 9 in the original series). But there will be a BONUS multiplier (explained below). The reason I am including this, is because if theoretically, everyone had the same fight at #25, it would add up to just 25 points in the end. But I think that would undermine the number of people who included that fight in their Top 25.

This is how the SCORING SYSTEM now officially reads. It's pretty straightforward, but if anyone has any questions feel free to ask. I just think with the grand numbers involved here, there should be a bonus for each mention, that will help, I think, portray lesser regarded fights that get tons of mentions a better representation.


OFFICIAL SCORING
The SCORING SYSTEM will be exactly the same as the ALL TIME list in the previous Survey, with the addition of a BONUS multiplier for each mention a fight receives with a 25x factor. So a fight that gets a single mention will get an additional 25 points, a fight that gets two mentions will get 50 additional points, and a fight that gets 10 mentions will receive an extra 250 bonus points, etc.
