Catch weight is the answer here. Brook can't make 147 but a little more than that would be good. I'd say 150.
Welcome to the forum mate - apart from lining the pockets of the multi-millionaires, I see no point in this non title fight as it is 5-8 years too late for me.
I read unfortunate news the other day about Amir Khan's mum having stage 4 cancer so that might put an end to any chance of Khan fighting anytime soon. Ramadan is coming up in April I think as well so I think it's safe to say that a fight wouldn't materialise until late 2021 at the earliest.
Being honest what do you think this does (in normal circumstances) ticket sales wise? I think it could probably sell Manchester Arena but nothing bigger. Khan has always said he wants to fight at Bolton’s ground but not sure the tickets will justify.
I'd still want to see Brook batter Khan after all these years. Khan might actually fight Brook now he is spent. Also another boxing event, at this stage of a lockdown I'd even watch a Parker vs Hughie rematch.
Maybe if the marketing is good they can drum up some war of the roses rivalry. Not too far across the snake pass for a travelling crowd from South Yorkshire. Meh nonetheless!
