I heavily favour Golovkin, but what are your thoughts?
    Who wins this matchup?

Wright’s technical ability keeps him in there a while, but the power difference is gonna take its toll an Winkys pulled out late, once GGG catches his second wind about 8 or 9 the pressure will really start. GGG could catch him earlier with something and take him out but I’m giving wright the benefit of the doubt here. He might last the distance but it’s ugly for him

Golovkin wins a close possibly debatable decision. Still bewilders me why many on here still view GGG as some kind of MW Tyson, his best win is Daniel Jacobs and even that was a SD. GGG looked like an ATG against the likes of Matthew Macklin and Willie Monroe but against anyone the level above that and he looked anything but an ATG.
GGG's size and power may well be the deciding factor down the stretch but I think he'd have a lot of trouble with an iron chinned master boxer like Wright.

I would favor GGG, but think Winky is a live dog. I would take G in a close perhaps majority or split decision. I want to pick Winky I just don’t think he would pull this one out

I’d expect Wright to go into his shell as GGG speeds up by the 5/6th round and that’s no disrespect to him. I just don’t see him holding his own or being able to mount enough of an offensive performance to beat GGG

I think it's a real close fight with GGG getting the nod.

I'm a fan of Winky, but he gets knocked out in this fight mid to late rounds. I'm surprised no one mentions one of GGG"s favorite punches, the over hand right..where he comes down from the top of his opponents head. Winky has a great defense, almost impenetrable most times. But i don't think winky's defense protects him against that particular punch from triple G. Winky doesn't have the foot speed to get away or the power to hold GGG off. With Winkys style he walks right into GGG's wheel house. It may be a merciful stoppage.

And Wright never decisioned someone on Golovkin's level...ever... In fact, he lost to lesser men.

Personally, I think Wright's physical strength and style make this pretty close, but Golovkin outworks him to a clear enough decision. Golovkin's jab, arguably better strength, and accuracy are enough to keep Wright's hands at home.

I honestly don't see any path for a Winky victory, best he can do is go the distance and take a beating and that's 60/40 against

Fine Fighter Winky Wright but I don't see what he's got that discourages Golovkin. Wright can't out jab him, if he runs he gets walked down and if he trades he's toast.
    Golovkin anytime after the eighth.
