While Tiger won't ko Jake,,,he will hurt him and I don't think LaMotta's power will affect Tiger that much. Tiger by UD 10-5 and Jake absorbs a lot of punishment

Just don't try to type the names of the two elder Turpin Brothers in the same post. You'll be banned for life !

Jake was a better fighter , had more game and could have outhustled him in a middleweight version of how Morrison beat Foreman but if he tried to match strength for strength he loses .. Tiger was possibly the strongest middle ever ...

What do you think, was he even stronger than Marvin Hagler ?

I’d say so. Remember despite being shorter and past his best, unlike Marv and Monzon he moved up and won the undisputed lightheavy title.
He only lost it when scaling 168 in his last fight against the towering Bob Foster.
Yes, I would say he was as strong as any middleweight there’s been.

I have watched now his only knockout defeat against Bob Foster. How defastating was that left hook and what a size difference between those boxers. I think there are punches, of which everybody would go down, like Marciano vs Walcott, SRR vs Fullmer etc. That punch simply belongs to it. And old Tiger was up again fast.

I kind of see this the same as you as well. Tiger clear not necessarily dominant but a clear decision in my mind.

LaMotta had much, much more game .. much better movement .. Don't confuse Jake w Gene Fullmer .. Jake had game .. he could move and punch in bunches and mix it up . he was not going to muscle Tiger , no one would .. he'd out punch and out point him

Yeah I'd agree he could move some, but I just can't see him not tangoing with Tiger
