The Thrilla in Manila, fantastic a fight as it was , emptied both fighters. They had nothing left after that. Noone with any sanity would have considered a 4th.

I doubt it, Joe was a very classy man and taking a public sparring match to the extreme with many onlookers seeing it as a friendly send off would be against his moral code from where I stand anyways.
Oof honestly I don't think Frazier would show mercy and would batter the **** out of Ali. Ali stopped on his feet probably or maybe just clinch and run to survive. It would have been a stain on both of them and all involved.
