Slightly disappointing the Josh Warrington fight, cannot even work out who he is? The Zelfa Barrett fight, I assume they hope they have got him on the downcline of his career.
So Gill ducked Reece Mould and now they sent in Leigh Wood to fight him instead. Fowler in against another bum. Normally a fan of the cards Hearn puts on but recently they have been abysmal.
No but through the floor. Overall I have to say a really disappointing set. I would like to see the full lists before making judgement, but madly underwhelming
Remember Coldwell saying Gill would be fighting him for the European Title. Wonder what happened to that? Just shows that Gill ducked Reece Mould
The first card is looking very poor! Considering nothing in Jan, and how inactive Warrington has been that is disappointing. The second show obviously has two great fights on it- not too much to complain about there. Fowler seems to be fighting a Spanish boxer from what I can tell. Never heard of him? Looks like a out and out journeyman. Fowler is 30 this year I think so not sure what the point of that fight is? Ted Cheeseman vs JJ Metcalf is scheduled for March 6th. Is that official for the Dillian Whyte show? Expecting to see Jumah vs Billam Smith too. Plus Buatsi in a good fight and Fitzy comeback.
Utterly shocking this is PPV. Povetkin has been ill recently and The Deluxe Pudding you would think have lost his appeal as a PPV attraction but I suppose as we all know Dill Boy does not get out of bed and go to the gym unless he's guaranteed at least a couple of lorryfuls of PPV loot. Don't get the appeal of it either, the winner is not going to go on to greater things, Pov is too old and The Deluxe Pudding has been exposed now as being never good enough to win a world title. As for the other cards, they're not perfect but in the current climate happy to see any half decent fights involving Brits on TV.
Kiko Martinez was past it a decade ago, yet is still being wheeled out in 2021. Who next? Carson Jones?
