Hearn said in his latest interview from today that they are 100% taking that fight, and will participate in the purse bids- he could not have been clearer or more confident that Felix is up for the fight and they back him to win it. He very often gives evasive answers so his clarity on this gives me some hope it will happen. If so would be one of the better domestic fights this year and if Bentley is durable has the potential to be one of the best domestic fights of 2021. Cheeseman vs Metcalf confirmed for March 6th too. Good fight. To be honest that is a much better fight than Whyte Povetkin! I'm more relaxed on PPV's than most, they have a place and I'm not against the concept in principle. This fight on PPV, again, a second time is beyond a joke though. First off, if you lose as a mandatory challenger for a world title, you lose your position and ranking! You don't then just get to go again and repeat the fight until you get the result you want. Apart from the fact that...…you do! So two fights against a 41 year old well past is Povetkin, now also post Covid-19 Povetkin just so Dillian has that going for him too. Talk about grasping at straws. No title on the line, one old and past it fighter, and one never had it bang average who got KO's in August fighter= PPV repeat.
This is a decent schedule for the rest of the world paying £2 on DAZN. For Sky Sports subscribers paying thirty odd quid minimum- not so much.
I’m only really interested in Kelly vs avanysan, cheeseman vs metcalf and wood vs mould. will have my eye on the whyte Povetkin rematch and hoping glowaki can beat Okolie. what happened to Warrington vs xu? The replacement is meh
I think he'll do the job in about 3 rounds maximum. Molina couldn't wait for Hrgovic to get him out of there in his last fight. Old, shot, wasn't that good in the first place but a perfectly viable opponent for Wardley at this stage.
I think Ball will batter her this time, will hold my hands up if I'm wrong though. She looked good last time out, fair enough her opponent didn't have much notice but the opponent actually had fast hands and some decent ability. Night and day difference when you compare Ball's last opponent compared to Courtenay's. Ball looked improved, cardio was excellent seemed to have faster hands (was already quick) and sank a LOT of bodyshots in, she barely threw any against Courtenay. I expect Courtenay to have improved also, going off her seemingly training properly for her last fight but she can't fight going backwards or under pressure and I think Ball will push her back this time and punish her when she gets the chance, I think she might be more full-time now also. As long as she isn't careless I can see her winning this down the stretch.
Lol why are people talking up Eric Molina as an opponent for Wardley? Just because he's had 2 undeserved World title shots years ago doesn't mean he's any good. It's like trying to talk up Razvan Cojanu.
Some good fights there. Some decent steps up for the likes of Benn, Zelfa and Wardley. We already knew the Warrington fight would be disappointing as they’re hoping to fight Xu in May. Overall not too bad. Anyone having a go at Hearn, Warren or any other promoter for putting on shows during a pandemic is a bellend.
Where’s Eddie’s new favourite, Babic? And nothing against Campbell Hatton, I wish him all the best but nobody should debut on a ppv.
Fowler on Twitter trying to persuade everyone how good his opponent is just sums that bellend up. Obsessed with what people think.
Disappointed in warrington opponent really thought dickens wud get the nod. Be interesting to see what happens as I've read his purse bid is Thursday for kids mandatory. Barrett v kiko is a joke. Surely there's actual super feathers out their after a fight. The one fight that interests me is mould v wood.
