Luiz Ortiz has good size, skill, power, counterpunching skills and is a very good southpaw. A skilled southpaw is a legitimate problem for 99% of heavyweights in history. Look what happened the first time Holyfield faced a decent southpaw in Michael Moorer - he lost his title. Nobody wants any part of Luiz Ortiz because they know he is a legitimate threat, a high-risk low-reward fight. AJ has never faced a good southpaw, that's why Ortiz would give Joshua some serious problems and probably even put him to sleep. It's a shame that nobody wants that king kong smoke
Ortiz is the most skilled Heavyweight behind Tyson Fury for the last 15 years. Unfortunately he turned pro late and he wasted most of his physical prime fighting bums and old bodies. Nevertheless he'd still beat most of the current Top 15 handily.
Deontay is the only one to defeat the ferocious grandpa Ortiz, Dillian Whyte and the bodybuilder Joshua didn't want no part of that savage senior citizen! Eddie Hearn let him go when he realized he couldn't control him.
Lol, he was offered more than 3 times the combined purse for both Wilder fights to fight Joshua and turned it down and came up with some lame excuse his management didn't tell him what was offered. He also threatened to sue Joshua when he was mandatory but instead jumped ship, signed to fight the inferior Wilder and didn't sue Joshua, he's all talk, no trousers. As for being a legitimate problem for 99% of all heavyweights in history, he wasn't even the best Cuban heavyweight as an amateur, he was usually 2nd or 3rd best on his tiny Island.
Didn’t even get selected to go the any of the many Olympics that were held while he was an amateur. And I’m to believe he’s more talented and skilled than AJ, Fury, Klitschko, Povetkin, Yoka, Hrgovic etc. Please. What a hypejob that man is.
Yet Ortiz was offered the June 1st fight and said no and his own management team admitted they messed up.
