There was never a time where he'd be number 1. He didn't have it as a pro.

Audley sucked as a professional, compared to his amateur success.

He didnt have the raw attributes that you need to be an elite professional boxer.

He had a low pain threashold and was pretrified of getting hit. If he was hurt, he didnt bite down on the gumshield and try and find a way to win.

Lets look at who he lost to- Danny Williams, Dom Guinn, Michael Sprott, Martin Rogan, David Haye, David Price and Deontay Wilder.

He was firmly in the mix at British level but he never reached European or World level.

He is a former European champion in professionals so surely he reached European level

Totally agree. He simply didn't have the mental fortitude ( and heart to a significant degree) that's usually present in most professional fighters. If you haven't got that then you're in the wrong sport .

It's a shame really as I think he could have been a "genuine" world title contender and possibly won one of the straps.

In my opinion yes if the world title is from one of the major organizations.

EBU belt that Harrison won is highest belt on european level

EBU belt? Yes it is true. It is valued more than WBC/WBA/WBO/IBF organisations european belts

if you're going to throw your cards on the table, at least do it with dignity.
