Gotta credit Lopez. I think Loma was concerned with Lopez’s power and quick counters and took too long to let his hands go. Would have been a different fight had he done so earlier. Not so sure he would’ve won, as opening up would have led to more exchanges and opportunities to get hurt , as in the 12th, but he’d have given himself a better chance, but a different fight either way.

 

You judge a fight based on what happens, not based on what should have happened. Loma doesn't lose points just because he didn't live up to your standards.

Loma was very wary of the speed and power of Lopez early doors
