thats fair if true for sure, and you cant know for sure, either can i,,,, Wilder is shady when it comes to the truth, regardless even if you are 100% correct which is possible, its hard to call it a bad duck when the guy you claim is ducking beat the living crap out of Wilder last time they fought and drew the time before that, especially when there is a bigger fight to be made with AJ who has a better record than Wilder.
the best thing for Wilder to do is to go public on his social media and admit he was knocked into a state of denial of reality by his loss to Fury,,, bow down to his fans and apologize for not being able to accept the reality of his loss, admit he couldnt deal with the loss and admit it drove him into a mental head space whereby he blamed others for his loss rather than accepting it and using that acceptance to help make him a better fighter in future,,,, would be great for boxing and mental health of others in general,,,,
Fury seems a lot more comfortable doing the TV talk show circuit now then he does training or fighting. I guess it's hard to stay hungry when you eat with a silver spoon now, but he should just take his cash out fight with AJ and ride off into the sunset at this point. Why risk it all against Wilder at this point? There is nothing to gain. He already has a win over Wilder at this point and a rematch is just another unnecessary risk. We know from the first fight that Wilder can be losing 9 rounds to 2 and all he needs is one punch. That's smoke that Fury just doesn't need at this point. Especially taking into account that he enjoyed a bit of a long count the first time around. Wilder is also fighting for the pride of his people, whom he let down the last time. Thats something that most of you just can't understand, but trust me it can bring the dragon back out of any defeated warrior....and again that's that smoke that Fury wants no part of. But why take the risk when you can fight the Tim Shwartz and Otto Walins of the world and mix in some Kajit Tajabs or whatever the guy calls himself, and people Will still proclaim you as great?
I don't know the legalities of the situation, but if i had my way, i'd let fury and joshua go at it twice (or three times if they split), then have wilder take on the winner. Wilder is still a contender, and i don't see why he wouldn't deserve one more chance after just one loss. In the meantime though, Wilder should stay active and get a few more decisive KOs.
I'm not sure about him being scared. He was well beaten and definitely needed a decent break after that beating, but he wants the rematch as he knows that he'll get locked out if Fury fights AJ and Usyk takes the belt AJ vacates as the rush reward for fighting him will be too high and time is not in his side. He's in a tough position as I don't think he'd get any props for streaming through Whyte, chisora and all the other also rans in the division.
you make some fair points, however, i disagree with him not getting any props for streaming through guys like Whyte and a few others, that would depend on how he "streamed" through those guys, if he knocks them out or beats them soundly looking good while doing it the hype would instantly start to build for all of his potential future fights,,,,
Possibly but that would take time and he probably thinks (rightly in my opinion), that he doesn't have to go back down a notch to rebuild and should be jumping straight back into a title fight. Especially as they have this contract.
yeah i hear you from Wilders point of view,,, i just dont care about Wilders point of view after so many years of waiting for him to step up while he called himself the greatest,,, i wouldnt mind if they get a third fight, just get it signed, get it on and move forwards, but i would rather a Fury and AJ fight first and i am still not convinced Wilder isnt just doing this in a effort to get step aside money for free, just imo, i could be wrong, the guy just took so long to step up for how good he was doing, like i said, its smart overall, look at the cash he has made for having no wins against the the top 2 or 3 guys in heavy? Dude you are brainwashed on Wilder. Wilder stated publicly that he was excorcising the rematch clause but never did. In the original 2nd fight contract Wilder had until 30th July 2020 to commit to the fight and he didnt. He was even given an extra 3 months to confirm if he wanted to excercise the rematch clause or not taking the deadline upto 30th October.
