Did Cassius Clay really have all this respect for Howard Cossel?

Did El Gallo Negro really have any respect for Ali? The least he could do is refer to him by his preferred name instead of going out of his way to continuously call him Clay knowing he didn't like it even after he has passed away. I wonder what kind of chip he has on his shoulder?

 

I would say Ali stole his wife, but I doubt he even had one at any point given his personality.

 

I hear Ali kicked sand in his face at the beach and ran off with the girl he was creeping on.

 

If he was married that would have to be one sorry excuse for a woman to hook up with someone that wouldn't even have the testicular fortitude to call him Clay to his face if he met him.

 

There was a tv special celebrating Muhammad Ali’s 50th birthday..they showed a message from Howard Cosel on a giant screen ....watch the emotion from Ali and watch the emotion from Cosel ...and tell me that’s not genuine

 

Howard Cosel was the only guy in the Media who stood up for Ali when he was in exile ...and Ali didn’t forget it

 

Ali and Cosel were like Stephen A .Smith and Max Kellerman

 

Stephen A Smith and Kellerman don't hold a candle to Ali and Cosell

The chemistry between Ali and Cosell was more real than Smith screaming at Kellerman
