Fury's legacy is about on par with that of Andy Ruiz's at this point

Wilder 2 was a good win , but Wilder slowed down a bit and was a bit passed prime.

Perhaps. 34 is probably right at the borderline where I start considering things like that.

I don't think I personally noticed Wilder slowing down, but I guess I can agree to something like "just past prime."

Gallo, I like your posts and I think you add something to the forum, but the Klitschko win was awesome. This isn't ultimate fighting, it is boxing, and some of us do indeed like clean displays of the manly art of self-defense.

Joshua and Fury, despite any flaws, have shown themselves to be the two best, and the winner is an instant legend.

Cunningham would have beaten Ruiz. Faster, more skilled, can easily take Ruiz's power.
Hammer would make a close fight. Ruiz couldn't hurt him.
Chisora would have beaten Ruiz. Ruiz couldn't hurt him, would get outworked.
Wlad would have KO'd Ruiz. Ruiz wouldn't land a glove on him.
Undefeated Wilder would have KO'd Ruiz x2. If Wilder can take the punches of Stiverne/Ortiz, I think he can handle Ruiz's shots, then land his bombs.

Fury would have beaten Parker comfortably.
Fury v. Joshua is unknown, but it's unlikely Fury loses the majority of rounds to Joshua over the course of two fights like Ruiz did.

And finally, Fury would utterly destroy Ruiz. He would toy with him and batter him blue. It would be one of the most ridiculous mismatches in the HW top ten.

If you found it boring, that's fine, but to pretend there's no evidence of skill, achievement, or talent, in what Fury did, again, marks you as a moron.

I was captivated when Fury outclassed and outboxed long reigning champion. It would be stupid to not count that his resume.

For more than ten years everyone thought it was impossible to outbox Wladimir. Even Wladimir stated to believe only way to beat him was to come looking for that one big shot

All I asked was what was the best punch he landed. Surely there had to be one that stood out?

The right that floored Wilder was a good shot as was the body punch that floored him, he also turned the last round of their first around by landed a good hook, stopping Wilder in his tracks as he was trying to finish Fury off, he ended up pushing Wilder back the rest of that round after that shot.

Tyson Fury was expected to beat any heavyweight, so his very big win is valuable but not shocking.

Andy Ruiz was dismissed by everybody as an overweight Middleweight, which he is...He did the unthinkable, now the best minds in boxing knew that Anthony Joshua was overrated, but they still saw a 6'06" boxer vs a shorter overweight boxer, with Parker as this misleading common opponent, add a short notice and Adny Ruiz had no chance.

Andy Ruiz destruction of Anthony Joshua is one of the ATG wins in boxing history, from that day on...All body builders learned to clinch their thighs every time they pass by a an overweight dude browsing the aisles of any store...you just never know how Mr Overweight mood is that day....best to avoid eye contact and play it safe....
