Sorry guy, but you need to get over it, we know you want Wilder to get a chance at redemption, but in truth your theorising could not be further from reality. The whole boxing world is already in full Joshua v Fury mode, their promoters are both saying they have an agreement in place and are close to announcing it as the next bout for their fighters. The fighters themselves are already building the fight narrative and furthermore its the fight the majority of fans want of any that could be made. And as you stated yourself Fury said he will never fight Wilder again. Yet you think we're close to Fury v Wilder 3 being signed!? Come on man, give it up, Wilder can rebuild and fight a few opponents similar in ability to the rest of his resume bar Fury and Ortiz, before having a go at Joshua's left overs (again) in Andy Ruiz! It's not all lost, but after almost a year your pining for a pointless third fight should be!

This I can help with. A judge will emphatically not say this. They may however find that the contractual obligation to provide a rematch had been satisfied by Arum offering two extensions to the original date and that the clause could not be allowed to remain indefinitely at the broadcasters convenience due to the damage it would do to Fury's career.

Irrelevant to the judge. All they have to say is that Fury should be free to pursue his career and that the clause expired at the end of the year. That's their argument, their may be an act of god clause in there that will require interpretation by the arbiter.

The reason it's not happening is that the party who is bound by it into a less commercially advantageous position has a possibility of an out and is pursuing it. Quite simply, Fury has outgrown Wilder. He has taken his belt, he whupped him in his back yard and left him without any credibility in the wider boxing world. Most fans given the choice would rather see him take on the other champ and that would generate the most money in boxing next year.

If the clause is enforced, Fury is locked into a guaranteed earnings split which Wilder otherwise would no longer get. He's out of the game whilst AJ has to take on risky fights that he could lose and with it, the chance of a massive 2 or maybe even 3 fight deal which would propel Fury's earnings into the stratosphere.

It's not really anything to do with Wilder's accusations of cheating, pathetic and self demeaning as they were. It's business, it's always business really in boxing. The clause ties Fury's hands and costs him money. His lawyers say he can get out of it. That's where we're at.

As for a payoff, you said previously that Wilder has already turned down 10m? If that's true then there's no way there's a bigger offer incoming.

Without seeing the contract I've no idea. Given how weak the arguments from Finkel sounded I suspect that team Wilder don't have any aces up their sleeve and just have to hope they get a sympathetic judge.

Deontay Wilder wants any fight, especially with Tyson Fury. He is one right hand away from taking everything Fury has.

In boxing politics...its better to have Fury at his peak vs Anthony Joshua, if Fury outboxes Joshua to a controversial Draw then the fans get a rematch, Fury frustrated with boxing politics. Comes and KO Anthony Joshua early in the fight

A good scenario follows, Wilder goes London stops Fury (or worse the fight is ended in a British stoppage),
Anthony Joshua in the undercard obliterates the always dangerous Whyte. Wilder vs Joshua series starts...Fury fails the drug test, posts his video with Anthony Joshua favorite GF trying to get Anthony Joshua jealous...Amir Khan uses his clout in the WBC and gets Tyson Fury banned for life...

Fury is out for good & sheeple Repeat in unison he was a Cheat

The road is clear and open for Wilder vs Joshua 1, Wilder vs Joshua II, Wilder vs Joshua III & why not Wilder vs Joshua IV

Then please explain Wilders radio silence for months until Fury declared he was moving on after months of calling him out

The reason Fury doesn't want to fight Wilder is the AJ fight. There is talk of a $150 dollar payday. This absolutely dwarfs what he could earn with Wilder. All the rest of this is smoke-filled coffee house crap. I'm sure Fury did say he wasn't going to fight Wilder again because his feelings were hurt - and i'm sure he believes it as much as Wilder believes the purported reasons for why he was bleeding from the ear

"I saw in the first fight when Ricky Hatton was pulling down your gloves to put your hand in the improper position. Y'all tried the same method the second time, but this time, you scratched flesh out of my ears, which caused my ears to bleed."

Both bullshitters, both trying to get money, only one of them with the opportunity of a payday to rival those enjoyed by Floyd Mayweather and Oscar de la Hoya. All the rest of this chat is meaningless.

Saying Deontay Wilder is the type of guy...who ponders possibilities...is a self-discrediting statement from the get go, Deontay Wilder is an apex-predator within the bio-pyramid, he channels upstream pre-mammal reflex-predatory instincts, an Anti-human striker hunter...Like a swift cold blooded feared-predator he unapologetically strikes, all he needs is a micro-second of contact to end the story of its warm-blooded victim...The fearful humans...then thinks of ways to avoid that apex predator...not the other way around

    Ducking requires thinking...
This primate cowardly practice you call thinking...is the weak way about doing things, when you are the hardest puncher to ever walk Earth you get ducked and live all your life have nothing to fear but Peace, you evolve to just let that right hand do what it does best. There is not criticism feedback compartment anywhere in Deontay Wilder body, all you will get is a right hand you didn't see followed by black-pitch screensaver and a quick dream

Yes I hear you on that, as fans we just want to see these guys in the ring

It's looking like Fury AJ X2 (possibly 3) could take us to mid - end 2022, and possibly longer if there is a KO or decisive win and they have a tick over in between, which means the division is locked down until 2023 possibly, which is a bit ****

If Fury AJ are going to fight I'd like to see the first one in the spring but looking unlikely at this stage, I would guess September

They might just maybe agree to do two, and to do the first one ASAP, after which they can wait as much as a year for the rematch. But on balance I think your guess is the best one.

I'm not sure how much Fury's management team expected to fight a third time with Wilder even before the contract expired to be honest.

This may seem a strange aside, but I noticed EAsports were producing Fury and Joshua as playable characters in UFC4. They were released in August 2020. Then there would have been development time. It seems like Joshua v Fury has been getting marketed/planned for quite some time.
